We tried Tandoori pizza when visiting SFO & we were thrilled to find out this place existed in Philly as well.
We visited this place twice and let me share our experience visiting this place second followed by the first time. We have ordered the Tandoori Chicken Pizza & and it’s a great deal for two people to have it. I would say this place definitely takes the first place among the Indian style pizzas I have tried in the USA ( which are probably not even handful). The pizza was delicious with their sauce, the onions, green onions, tomatoes, cilantro and the generous amount of tandoori chicken cubes which were grilled to perfection with its rich flavors. Their Ranch was also something special , I don’t know what ingredients they added into ranch which made the experience even better.
The first time we visited was not a great experience , as we travelled for 45’mins to have this pizza & we called before hand about the place being open. However when we reached there got to know that the oven was down just like few minutes ago we entered. Even though its not their fault it was just disappointing to experience such a thing.
The reason of me giving 4/5 even after such a good review is that the crust was bit thick and I was full only after having two pieces and also the crust became hard by the time we got to the last 4 pieces left in a total of 12 piece (they are small pieces).
However I am pretty sure I would suggest this place to someone who are craving for a good Indian pizza and we are glad that whenever we miss the Indian style pizza, we have the Tandoori Pizza to look Forward for.
All I hope is that they keep maintaining the good quality and taste of the pizza...
Read moreAfter a trip to the Philly Art Museum, we went to Tandoori Pizza. We had the med. Lamb Kabab Pizza, and two sides: the Garlic Bread with cheese and Achari Wings, along with a Coke. In the end we left with two Mango Lassi and a Pistachio Ice Cream.
Pizza: Thin crust, crispy, not too saucy, with flavors melting in our tongues. Delicious lamb with a small kick to it (we're Mexican, so gauge accordingly). Hot fresh out the oven. 5/5 Booms
G Bread: Good cheese, not too salty, very crispy, but we didn't mind. Also hot out the oven. 4.5/5 Booms
A Wings: So much flavor, but with a bigger kick to it. Employee recommended, with good reason. Wing skin not crispy. Very juicy. 4/5 Booms
Coke: I feel like we chose the right one out the fridge, cause it hit. Super fresh, squeeze it till we got every last drop. 5/5 Booms
M Lassi: Very fresh, and creamy. The sweetness only came from the mango. 5/5 Booms
P Ice Cream: Creamy with bits of Pistachio in it. Very good. 5/5 Booms
Food came out like in the pictures. We got distracted and forgot to take pictures. Would go back again....
Read moreWithout a doubt, this place serves up one of the most incredible Indo-style pizzas you’ll find in the area. It instantly transports me back to the authentic Indian-style pizzas from Canada, where every bite is a perfect blend of spices, texture, and flavor. The crust is crispy yet soft, the cheese perfectly melted, and the toppings are generously packed with rich, bold tastes that make every slice feel like a celebration.
The Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken pizzas are absolute standouts – each bite is loaded with tender, flavorful chicken and a unique blend of spices that will have you craving more. And the best part? Even when you warm it up in an air fryer the next day, the flavors are just as delicious as the moment it arrived fresh out of the oven. If you’re a fan of fusion food or just love trying something new, these pizzas are an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss!
I just came back to my post to say. I am craving this now and will be getting some later...
