Drove near 20 minutes to get here, waited in a very long drive though line, finally arrived at the window to pay and they gave us two 3 piece meals instead of two 4 piece. But we were only charged for 3 piece meals (and they didn’t offer to fix it, weird?) so we said no problem. Mistakes happen. We can live with two 3 piece meals.
Then right after we pull off my partner tells me to check the bag, and what do you know? We only got TWO pieces of chicken in one of the orders. After all that!
So we parked and I went inside. Had to wait in line again and when I told the cashier, I was told I had to wait for another batch. So I sat there ANOTHER 5 minutes. (Aren’t chicken pieces like the only thing they sell? felt like a deterrent to make me give up and leave)
Finally got handed one messily tiny piece of chicken. After the major inconvenience, I thought it’d be reasonable to ask for an extra piece, but I was told “nah sorry, they didn’t even want me to give you this one. They said they counted every order.” Ok and I say I’m the king of France. That doesn’t make it true. Apparently they cannot count to 3.
Felt like they thought I was trying to get my originally ordered 4th pieces of chicken. Already said it was no problem in the drive though so why would I go through all that? I just wanted what I paid for but was made to feel like I was doing something wrong, AND was made to wait even longer to receive it
2 stars for the 2 pieces of chicken...
Read moreI don't know if this change is coming from the owner or an unhappy employee who is choosing to be a troll, but I bought a 3 piece combo and rhe fries were all but none. For the sake of keeping it objective so people can understand what I'm talking about... I decided to count the number of fries (if anyone cares....count that amount out to SEE what I mean). I got 32 French fries (and you know some of them are the short stubs ...I almost wanted to count two of them as one..but I counted each piece)....32 French fries on the side in my to-go order. I looked at other people who were dining in with the same combo and they had way more. Maybe they think to-go orders are easy to mes with because its presented in a box that covers what they are doing. I asked about it and they said that was the correct amount. I've been here many times in the past and NEVER received such a small portion. I hope the owner sees this....this is not how you're going to make your profit....people work hard for their money and if you or the employees thing pinching down portions is the way to go, your business will dry up. I'm giving this place one more try at some later date and I'm going to post the update here. Somebody needs to clock back in and watch/randomly audit the behavior of the employees at...
Read moreAs a first-timer at Raising Cane's Chicken in Philadelphia, I must admit I was underwhelmed by the hype surrounding this establishment. Despite the online buzz about its fantastic sauce and crispy chicken, my experience left much to be desired.
The chicken, while crunchy and moist, lacked flavor and depth, failing to live up to its reputation. The accompanying "Texas toast" had an odd taste, and the crinkle fries, while not terrible, were far from exceptional.
While the sauce provided a much-needed flavor boost, it was disappointing to receive only one serving, particularly when considering the variety of sauces available at other chicken joints like Popeyes. Speaking of which, Popeyes offers superior chicken flavor and a more satisfying array of sauces, making Raising Cane's pale in comparison.
On the bright side, the staff at Raising Cane's were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant itself was surprisingly clean, despite its location. However, these positives weren't enough to compensate for the lackluster food experience.
In conclusion, while Raising Cane's Chicken may have its loyal followers, my visit left me questioning the hype. For those seeking truly flavorful chicken and a wider sauce selection, alternatives like Popeyes may be a more...
