RICO MEXICAN TACOS — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Probably the best Mexican food in all of north Philly. The price point is a tad high for what it is, but all things considered they do it right. You won't get the run of the mill typical taqueria food here. They make everything to order , fresh from the grill. They don't heat things up here . I waited patiently for my food my first time there and i have to say was impressed. And i have been to all of the taco joints near me and have reviewed them all, but this place is just different it is old school style cooking with a flair for flavor these hands that make the food are blessed with years of technical ability , they are wanting to showcase good food and impeccable flavors. If you haven't tried their guacomole yet it is going to knock your socks off and then some. I dare to say it is the best i have had thus far and for me that is not an easy statement to me however i firmly stand by it. The pork is gently marinated and has flavor and moisture Puebla style. Come check this place out and be the judge for yourself. I give it a whopping 5 star rating...

I made an order for pick up on Friday September 20 2024. Went I went inside to pick up my order the clerk at the register was very condescending. I simply told her to the to take the horchata off the bill order. Apparently she took this personal and told me to relax. If you are working with the public you tell à customer to relax that is a no when I am paying the bill. Then she said I don't like how you are talking to me. To me this was a big turn off. Obviously they don't care or appreciate my business. Then the manager told her to go to the back and the manager proceeded to continue with the order without no apology. I decided there to walk out and give my business to someone that will appreciate my business. I will never return there ever again. POOR...

I ordered the dean dip and nachos for lunch which is listed as 6.99 I verified this online and through Uber eats and door dash and also by being a repeat customer Jose goes on to tell me that the price is 8.99 I said that has to be a mistake. So I went to pick up my order And picked up a menu Just to look at the new prices to my surprise the price for my food did not change. And when Jose rung me up he charged me for a cheese dip with nachos and not for what I asked for. Which was the bean dip with nachos

I have been patronizing Rico Mexican tacos for some time now and do not appreciate being lied to and up charged out of my money I don’t think I will be buying lunch from here...
