So unfortunately I was not able to rate this establishment with the -5 stars I was hoping for! Our 40 minute order was delivered in 1 hour and 7 minutes. We brought the food inside (Pizza, french fries and hot wings) first thing we opened were the fries which were very appeasing at first site. We were very much mistaken, the best way I can explain the taste and texture would be to heat up some fries, refrigerate them, heat them back up in the oven and "attempt" to eat them again. If your into reheated almost rock solid hard french fries this place would be highly recommended for you!! The next thing that was opened was the hot wings, My first thought was there is either the BIGGEST drought of hot sauce in their restaurant or they were heated in the microwave for the entire 40 minutes the order was originally supposed to take. Last but not least was the pizza, which looked the best out of the 3 items! Once again looks were very deceiving it was warm to the touch, bit into it and it tasted as if we were given a pizza that was intended for delivery an hour previously and was reheated using the hood of the delivery drivers vehicle. Half way through the pizza it started to harden just like the french fries and within minutes the entire pizza was hard to the touch. I can honestly say that our entire $41 dollars was a complete waste and this was the WORST food we have every ordered for take out. Save your money and your taste buds and if some how you must eat from Rustica do yourself a favor, ravage thru their dumpster it'll taste damn near the same and save your...

What do you call it when your taste buds are overwhelmed and salivating from an explosion of deliciousness. How is it that finding a diamond in the rough means driving by an establishment for years and not knowing that a nugget of a restaurant was within arms reach of a traffic light. I can't keep this secret in anymore, this restaurant or pizza joint is a culinary dream. I was googling the best chicken cheesesteak in Philly, wanted my lady to eat something good, when I came across this restaurant. People say things to hype average up, but this ain't no average Jaun (born in Philly Y'all 1965 - don't try to correct me. Urban Dictionary the entry dates...Jaun vs Jawn). Do a food run and compare, (meat, bread, quality, and healthiness of the steak, chicken or beef). They don't need my hype, they have loyalty and now, one more in me. Pizza, Steak, Specialties......

Lived in Northern Liberties for 10 years, stopped here a few times but never with my kids. After spending 22$ on two slices of pizza, chips and two drinks was told I can't get a box to put their chips and pizza in because I didn't have enough food to qualify for it but if I spend 2$ more I can get the box. Pizza has always been mediocre, atmosphere is not much and as for service I walked outta of there holdin my 2 and 4 yr old hands while balancing chips and pizza on a plate. Luckily I know the rest of the block and delis.. walked right in there they hooked me up with bag and boxes. Will never come back to this place again. And as for pizza much much better options in this neighborhood don't wast your...

I ordered two cheese slices as a first timer and I can say that these slices were delicious! The tomato sauce was very fresh and vibrant and the cheese was a perfect balance of cheese and sauce. I will definitely be coming back more frequently. I decided to dine in and the atmosphere is also just a very peaceful and great space. Each person at Rustica were very friendly and upbeat! I also enjoy the music and that authentic ambiance. This pizza place is definitely the best in Northern Liberties. Feel free to dine in as I can promise that you won’t be disappointed. Take care guys and thanks again for such a pleasant exchange. With appreciation, Chikondi Rose Nana Afua

Is the pizza edible? Yes... does it stand out from the rest of the pizza in Philly? No. It lacks the flavor profile that I look for when I eat pizza. Everyone enjoys different things about eating pizza. If you like more dough and sauce, you might want to look elsewhere... there was plenty of cheese and meat but missing the basil and salty cheese taste. Surprisingly, the sausages were a little spicy(i like good surprises). I added some seasoning on it and devoured it. You can't mess up pizza unless you mess it up.

The best pizza from Philly I’ve had so far. The sauce is tasty with flavor and is not bland like pizzeria sauce can often be. There’s not an overwhelming amount of cheese but rather the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. There’s a nice bite to the pizza which is rewarding, and I found that the toppings excelled in both taste and quantity. I’m more than pleased with the price, the quality, and the consistency (I’ve ordered here multiple times), and for these reasons I recommend others to check this spot out.
