This was my first time visiting Nirvana and I received a massage and the radiance facial.

The massage: my Masseus, Tiffany, was incredible. I'd give her 30 stars if I could. She was thorough, checked in often and really made sure to make me feel incredible. I would absolutely get a massage from her again. Reflexology add on: this was....confusing? Maybe its because I've never done reflexology but this felt like, well, nothing ? I don't even know when during my appointment this happened. So, maybe I wouldn't recommend adding this in.

The facial: Lauren was very sweet and talked me through my options. I liked the facial, I don't think it was anything over the top or super luxurious, but i enjoyed it nonetheless.

Some additional points:

The "spa" aspect is a bit lacking. I showed up 15 min early hoping to be handed a robe and allowed some sauna time. Did not seem to be an option. The robes / facial gowns: this spa specifically doesn't seem to carry anything above an L so if you're the average size American woman, or larger, you are not getting into one of their robes. This is very disappointing. Having to redress between appointments really takes you out of the experience. Nirvana really needs to do better, having robes for straight and plus sizes is not a monumental ask. The upsell post facial is a lot. I get it, the teams work on commission, I don't blame them, I blame the owners. You are already charging Rittenhouse prices, you can afford to pay your ppl a bit more.

Nirvana provides an exceptional experience from start to finish. The spa is beautifully designed, with a calming and peaceful atmosphere. The staff are friendly, professional, and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of.

I recently had the most amazing massage experience of my life, thanks to Cynthia. She quickly put me at ease with her warm and welcoming demeanor, and is a true professional, with an impressive understanding of the human body and how to target and relieve tension. I am currently dealing with a shoulder injury and Cynthia listened to my concerns and tailored the massage to my needs. I left the session feeling refreshed, renewed, and incredibly relaxed. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a top-notch massage experience.

I also regularly get facials from Taralyn, the owner. She is with out a doubt, the best esthetician in Philadelphia. She took the time to understand my skin concerns and recommend a plan that was perfect for my skin type. I really appreciate that she does not push unnecessary treatments or products. During the facial, she was gentle and attentive, and I felt completely relaxed and pampered. The products she used were high quality, and my skin was left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

After buying a new face wash that was too harsh for my skin, I chemically burned myself one day before I had to attend a wedding (I know nothing about skincare). I was left with red, dry, flaky and irritated skin. Every moisturizer I tried to use burned even more, and I couldn't apply any makeup to cover the redness since my skin barrier was ruined. In a frenzy, I sent a message to Nirvana on Instagram hoping they could get me in first thing the next morning before the wedding. The owner, Taralyn, responded IMMEDIATELY and said I could come in for an Express facial (30 min). She was extremely responsive, and asked me questions about what products I used etc. My esthetician, Liz, was very knowledgable and gentle, and knew just what to do. She boosted my face up with moisturizing products and a cooling mask. Even though I was scheduled for 30 minutes, Liz stayed with me for about 50 minutes to treat my skin. While it takes weeks for the skin barrier to fully heal, Liz's work jump-started that process for me, and I saw immediate results. Hours later, and with a layer of Aquaphor as an extra primer, I was able to apply a thin layer of makeup to somewhat cover the redness for the wedding.
