I wanted to love this place⦠and I did until I realized I was being scammed/taken advantage of. I got my lips done 5 times by Alex in total $4,000. I didnāt have much experience with any kind of filler when I came across her Instagram and booked with her when I saw how good her shaping technique was, which it is. However, thereās a few ways she got me and I didnāt realize until it became blatant and I went to a different med spa. for starters, my filler was only lasting a month. and Iām not talking about swelling going down- the actual filler was dissolving fast. She wasnāt injecting my filler deep enough I later found out when I went to a different med spa and had a completely different experience. What was blatant was that she was not giving me my full syringe that I was paying for. My 4th time going, I paid attention as I was getting suspicious. I was looking at the syringe and right as she finished my syringe there was about over a quarter left. She then said I was all finished and covered the syringe with her gloves. I didnāt speak up for myself because I figured maybe I was wrong, I book one last time with her. the same exact thing happens. Tells me Iām done, puts the syringe down and quickly places her gloves over the syringe. I said are you sure thatās the full syringe? āUh-huh!ā Iām only 22, not the best at speaking up for myself, so I left. Never booked again. I am 100% positive she wasnāt giving my the entire syringe that I was paying for, so she could change the needle essentially using it so she could fill her own lips. I made the mistake of telling her what I do for work, as she saw me as someone she could take advantage of. I have gone to a new spa and Iām going on month two, lip filler still prominent. A shame that I didnāt speak up for myself, but from here on out I am. When I told her about my filler not lasting she told me it had to be my metabolism due to me being a dancer. Complete scam. And I know that now. Iām looking into suing for partial or all of my money back. This place has all great reviews but even a friend of mine I work with told me she went to revive and the same thing happened to her, her lip filler didnāt last more than a few months. She got her lips filled a year ago elsewhere and theyāre still there. Word of advice, if you have something youāre good at donāt get greedy and rip people off. Itās not cool. I will be taking action. Nothing is more annoying than being taken advantage of for being young and naive. If for some reason your bad reviews are weeded out, I will be posting and commenting and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been getting Botox for 8+ years and never had this experience. I googled Revive, and decided to give it a try since my current injector was on maternity leave and is now getting her medical boards. I was given Alexandra Szczepanski when booking online. As I told Alex, I do not want to look frozen. I want to have some movement in certain areas. I just wanted to treat the top of my forehead, the 3s when I squint in between my eyebrows, and the lower part of my eyes. She explained that it was not possible to spot treat because it wouldn't last as long and the muscles are shared, etc. and that she would have to treat the entire forehead and entire eye region. She totaled me out at $870 (around 73 units; $12/unit). Mind you- unless squinting, I do not have any wrinkles. and I normally get around 30-40 units. My past injectors, who always did a great job, never gave me a problem with spot treating or a more "baby Botox". I told her that I would rather under inject instead of over-inject, because if she over injects there is no way to go back but if she under injects I can just come back. She said that under injecting is actually bad and she disagreed with me...At the end, she said she wouldn't feel comfortable giving me less and that we can just mark this off as a consultation, which I agreed to. This was a very big waste of my time. From the start, I felt that she was not listening to me. Maybe if I had gone to someone else at Revive I would have had a better experience. The front staff were nice and it was nice being able to book an appointment online, but that's it.
**EDIT/Update: I was able to get in the next day for a last minute opening at Modern Aesthetics Plastic Surgery in KOP with Zack Lutz, PA-C. He works with the very well known Kaitlyn Nelson of the_plastics_pa. He did a wonderful job with listening to what I wanted and recommended we do what was in my chart from just a year ago- 35 units. When I told him and his assistant of the 70 some units recommended to me they were both taken back and the girl even came up to me when checking out to ask me more about where I went, etc. She gets her whole foreheads, eyes, and both masseters and doesn't even get that many units. My results have kicked in and are just how I wanted. I highly recommend them!!! Worth the drive.
As for Revive, what kind of business response is that? Completely unprofessional and defensive and a big reflection on the type of service you get when...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really wanted to like this place but my results were not at all what I wanted and I went two separate times and got 1 syringe, for both visits. Once in February of last year and went back for more, to give it a second chance with another injector. First off, the place is welcoming and nice. Itās warm and tidy. I did feel I got attentive care when I arrived. No issues with that. Staff was friendly. My problem was my results. The first time, I went and the women listened to my concerns and I told her what I wanted. I showed her pictures and told her what I didnāt want. I trusted her to choose which filler, since it was my first time and I saw her results on IG and liked them. BUT of course they pick and choose their best before and afters, so you canāt really go on that 100%. After 3-4 weeks, I waited for them to settle and see the full results. I went back because when I put lipstick on, it looked like a bumpy road. It was not cute or appealing. She agreed and tried to fix it and added a little more to that spot. After I accepted that I really wasnāt that happy and waited a couple months. I went back in August to try again and saw another woman injector. I told her the same thing and she looked at my lips from last time and said I could handle more volume and again, I told her to choose, since sheās the expert and itās only my second time. I tell her too what I want and donāt want. I tell her about the dissymmetry of my lips and to please fix that and define my cupids bow. The type of filler used had definitely more volume but again, nothing that I wanted was achieved. I was bummed and didnāt even call or write them because I just felt like I gave them two times and two different injectors to get it right and I was not satisfied. Plus the before and after photos they took of me, were never posted and I did give them consent, just to cover my eyes. I would probably do more research and see if close friends of family members recommend someone because a welcoming greeting and IG posts can be misleading. I chose to not put the injectors names because I donāt want to be rude but I just...
