Food is good, but I'm dropping a lot of stars for customer service (for takeout and delivery). One time is okay, but it seems to be a pattern here. Last two experiences I've had on a Sunday evening (both rainy days - I get it, you're busy), the service has been poor (long wait times, poor customer service). The first time the restaurant was so backed up that even though my GrubHub app said the food was made, the restaurant hadn't even started making my food. Ended up waiting an hour inside along with close to 7 other people in similar situations. I ended up canceling my order and got food elsewhere after going to the back/kitchen to ask what was going on. What makes it worse is that no one ever comes to the front desk - they all stand in the back and don't make an effort to tell you what's happening with your order. Similar experience happened for a second time where there is a crowd of people waiting up front for their orders with no one coming to help unless you basically yell at someone to assist. I'm hesitant in ordering again from here for takeout. Expect an hour wait or longer. They need to be more transparent about their wait times (they are not half hour), improve their customer service, or hire more people...
Read moreLovely inside. Friendly wait staff, our dishes were good but not quite "very good" (chicken pad thai and pad kee mao w/tofu) if that's a rating scale?
We checked the outside menu for lunch (saturday, 1pm) and saw the prices for the dishes we wanted. $13 each. We sat alone in the restaurant at this hour, but one guest came for a take-out.
On the menu once seated, our same two dishes on the lunch menu were $14. Ok we said, and ordered. No customers, so no real attention was paid us, though we did not need any assistance. No water refill, for example. I had to stand and ask for the bill, which did not trouble me either.
At the time of payment, both our dishes were charged $17 a dish!
From $13, to $14 to $17. I paid, and we left. I did not confront the waiter or ask for an explanation. I am at a loss to understand why the pricing should be so fluid: especially since its raised $4 per plate over the posted at the window price.
I tried calling when i returned home. The number at Circles website goes straight to voicemail.
Hopefully management can offer an answer here on...
Read moreI placed an order through Uber Eats and was pleased to see some nice offers, which made the meal even more affordable. I decided to try the Pad See Ew with beef, and I have to say, the portion size was huge! It was really satisfying, and I couldn’t even finish it. The dish itself was tasty, with flavorful beef and perfectly cooked noodles.
I also ordered sticky rice with mango, which I thought was pretty good, especially since I'm new to Thai food. However, there was a white sauce in the middle of the rice that kind of turned me off. It wasn’t to my taste, so I ended up not finishing it.
One downside was that I had it delivered to my hotel, and I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t include utensils in my order. It kind of defeated the purpose of delivery, as I had to go out and search for utensils.
Despite that, the food itself was solid, and I'd probably give them another try, especially with the good offers...
