Mi Puebla Restaurant & Bakery in Philadelphia is a true culinary gem that offers an authentic taste of Mexican cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the vibrant decor and inviting atmosphere make you feel right at home. The menu is packed with a variety of traditional dishes, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
I highly recommend trying their tacos—filled with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. The carnitas and al pastor are especially noteworthy, served with homemade salsa that adds the perfect kick. Their enchiladas are also a must-try, with rich sauce and perfectly cooked fillings.
But the real star here is the bakery. The selection of fresh pastries is simply irresistible. The conchas and tres leches cake are divine, making it impossible to leave without indulging in something sweet.
The staff at Mi Puebla is friendly and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations and ensure you have a great experience. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it a fantastic value. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go, Mi Puebla is a delightful spot that will leave you craving more. I can’t...
Read moreI had been wanting to try this place out since moving back to the area and seeing it was close by. The staff was nice but I was expecting something great and it was a bit mediocre for me.
I ordered crab quesadilla and shrimp tacos. The crab quesadilla was real crab meat BUT there’s nothing saying it’s 95% grilled vegetables (zucchini, onions and peppers). I have three to four lump crab meat in the entire quesadilla. It was more a veggie quesadilla in my opinion. I’ve had crab quesadilla before in Baltimore and I was expecting more crab at this place. It was $13 for vegetables. The flavor was ok. Very wet quesadilla which can turn my stomach sometimes.
The tacos came three tacos in the order. It was ok. Shrimp, onion, cheese and a bunch of cilantro. Not much flavor compared to the quesadilla.
They no longer have mango salsa (if you see it on their menu).
It wasn’t bad just a...
Read moreEver since moving up here from Texas, I've been on nothing short of a spiritual quest. It sounds simple enough - finding a decent taco - but when your standards are as high as mine, you experience one disappointment after another. I didn't know how the food would be here, but i decided to give it a try anyway.
The result was nothing short if euphoric. To say the food is amazing doesn't begin to capture the sheer, enrapturing experience of taking a bite of one if these tacos. Instantly, I felt myself transported to a land of both culinary bliss and cultural diversity, even better than a visit back to my home state. Each experience since the first has only improved. My quest is now over.
Try the baked goods for an added treat. Go on, you deserve it. Because, also, your continued patronage will ensure I never need to search for the...
