Sharq Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Philadelphia

HORRIBLE!!!!!! We called ahead and placed an order for a pickup. We came to pick up our food and asked them to add a sauce, they said “there is already a sauce inside”, and then we just payed for it and left. On our way home we checked inside the box and didn’t see any sauce there. It made me mad because I specifically asked if they put a sauce there which they said they did. So, we drove back to the restaurant and asked them for the sauce which they forgot to put in our order. After, they took 5-10 mins to get the sauce which was LIKE WATER, it even tasted like water. I think they just didn’t had the sauce and mixed shit together and gave us that. I’ll rather them to tell me that they don’t have the sauce and not give out shit to customers!!!!! Never coming...

Liked the place its cozy, nice, with beautiful and modern interior, clean, even the restrooms. Food was delicious, tasty, real Uzbek cuisine. we ordered shurpa, mastava, shashlik (lula kebab and beef)and avocado shrimp salad, as a bonus they gave us fried dumplings; all was very tasteful as if cooked and served straight from our home city Tashkent. Decided to try this place out since it’s nearby, food was alright, was kind of dry and my friend’s chicken dish was a bit salty. When we first tried to order, they told us that they didn’t have the dish that we wanted available which was disappointing. It took quite some time for the food to come and their best dish was probably the french fries lol. They also had a 12% service charge on top of the meal (without tip) which is unusually high and in my opinion not worth it. The server was kind at least. Overall...
