I recently used Fixland to service my dryer and the experience was highly disappointing. They sent a technician named Oleg A. who caused significant damage to the dryer during a simple diagnostic. Without my knowledge, he hammered the frame out of place, severely damaging it. Although I heard the noise, I had no idea what he was doing at the time. To make matters worse, he misdiagnosed the issue and provided an incorrect repair quote. I later sought a second opinion from another company, whose technician accurately diagnosed and resolved the problem, as reflected in my receipts.
On Monday, December 16, 2024, I contacted Fixland and spoke with Maria, who assured me that I would receive a refund and that management would follow up with me. However, as of today, December 20, 2024, no one has returned my calls, and the company is now unresponsive. I have screenshots documenting my attempts to reach them and would caution others to request proper credentials if Oleg is sent as their technician. This experience has been deeply frustrating and unprofessional.
Update: Friday December 27, 2024
As of December 27th, this issue remains unresolved. Despite multiple attempts, I have received no response after contacting both the company’s main line and the owner’s personal number which I received from this google review response. I strongly advise exercising caution when considering this company. Management has yet to address my concerns or issue a refund. While I did receive a call from someone named Victoria, I have never been contacted by the OWNER, MANAGEMENT or anyone in a position to resolve the matter. Victoria called me but could not resolve the issue.
I emphasize caution, particularly if you are planning to use this company for appliance repairs. In my case, a technician caused significant damage to my dryer, and the COMPANY and the TECHNICIAN effectively disappeared afterward. My only recourse was to leave a review on Google, but even then, I have received no further resolution. Proceed carefully and ask for credentials when they arrive.
