Haven’t been to Topgolf for the past 10yrs and it’s still just fun maybe better. This was a fresher to how much fun I have just driving the hell out of golf balls!!!! I normally don’t golf but I love to blast the golf balls. Location was simple. We’re coming from Montgomeryville so taking the turnpike to route 1 to Byberry Rd is quick. Layout of the facility is nicely done and simple. As soon as you walk in the checkin is right inside. There is a host standard in between to greet or assist if needed. Small gift shop at the front desk. Staff at the front desk was quick and friendly. Each floor has their own bar and seating area accommodated with restrooms close by. FYI each bar does their own transaction meaning if you buy a drink and have an open tab, you need to close out your tab if you’re playing at a different floor. The tab does not transfer over. Playing options are pretty simple and the system does a great job at keeping your scores. Staff for food service at your station/ area was awesome. Gabriel did a fantastic job at assisting us with stupid questions. Had a minor issue with the food but the manager quickly addressed this and apologized but made such a sincere effort to make it better. We completely understand things happen. As for the food- IT IS OKAY. Unfortunately the freshness was not there but it was good. We ordered the Topgolf Wings Buffalo with ranch dressing - good wings but the carrots and celery was definitely a couple of days old. Nachos with salsa and guacamole - chips were crisp, salsa and guacamole was good. Margarita pizza - was okay. Chicken tenders bone in with fries - my daughter enjoyed them. They looked good. Prices for food - not the best but it’s DEFINITIVELY not a deal breaker. Cleanliness was above par!!! Especially for the ladies restroom. Overall - the experience at this location was fantastic. The staff really made up for the food but we had a great time that it didn’t bother us. Just wanted to make everyone aware that you’re not going to get a 5 star cuisine here. It’s all about the golf and having fun challenging each other.

I have been to the locations in Mount Laurel and Atlantic City and have zero complaints about those locations. This location offered poor service. The waitress was absent and didn’t take our order until 20 minutes into our 60 minute game time. The food service was slow, and came 45 minutes into our game time. Instead of initiating another game, we choose to eat and were immediately bought the check. Ten minutes after the food was delivered or mid-meal, we were asked to move. Who gets up while they are still eating to move to another location? If you don’t want people at the bays if they aren’t actively playing, announce that in the beginning or offer faster food service. Multiple staff members came to ask up to move, while we were actively eating. I have never experienced this at another location. They give guests the courtesy to finish their meal. Our waitress brought 3 plates for 4 ppl, and forgot the drink order for a member of our party. All of this is fine, but coupled with the rushed/rude behavior, it made for an undesirable experience. I’ll stick with the other locations.

Nice golf range. You wave your club in front of this sensor and the machine spits out a ball for you. There's holes out in the range to aim for and a scoreboard screen for your party. It's pretty nice. You pay by the hour for your entire party. This encourages you to go fast to make sure everyone gets their swings in. I've been to another range where you pay for the balls. I think the paying for balls would be nicer for more casual play and less time pressure. The service was good but a little slow. It was a busy Saturday night so it was understandable. It would be nice to see the screen tell you it's another players turn. It lets each player take as many shots as they want and I accidentally shot for my friend once. Configuratting shots per player would be a good addition. Would also be neat to get the golf ball dispensed directly onto the tee. Had a lot of fun and would definitely come back.

Fun place, but could use some polish.

My wife and I have been here a few times now - usually days off when we drive down to the area and spend a couple of hours having drinks, picking at appetizers, and hitting golf balls. It's a fun game, and they've got multiple flavors - distance, accuracy, and other scoring systems.

The venue is three levels, each with, if I had to guess, between 40 and 50 at least, bays to hit golf balls from. There seems to be plenty of parking. There is a large sports bar on the first level located inside, and a smaller bar on the second level. I haven't explored the third level yet. Restrooms are on each floor. There are outdoor patio areas as well for nice weather.

The check-in area could be better designed, as coming in the doors there's only about 15 feet to the desk. To the right is a small shop area with merchandise, but is in a corner. To the left is entrance to the bays, restroom, elevator, and sports bar. If there are a good number of people trying to check in, it may spill out the doors onto the sidewalk outside.

The bay areas are technically open to the elements, but covered. The heaters are plenty powerful to keep everyone warm in cold weather, though. You'll likely be fine in a sweatshirt or fleece even in 20 degree weather. One downside is that each heater control system is over two bays. So if you're not in a party with the other bay, you'll just have to hope you'll agree on the heater setting. Looking at the heating system, it seems that single heaters extend over two bays, but it would have been nice to have independent controls for each bay.

Depending on the location of your bay, there are either soft patio-type furniture sets - L shaped couches with a square table. Or, sometimes bar-height tables with chairs. Both are fine - couches may be a bit more comfortable for 2-4 people, high tops better for crowds who need the floor space (4-6 per bay).

The service is okay - depending on the day it can feel either overstaffed or understaffed for the crowds. Sometimes you see staff without anything to do, but other times (seems more often in my experience) there are delays and periods of time without service, likely due to staff being stretched thin across many bays. Most recently it was just a few small things - had to request napkins after food was checked on. No small plates were provided, which was fine in our case but it could be nice in general to proactively bring out waters at first, and then, small plates, utensils, and napkins for each person in the group if they will be ordering food as well.

The food has been good, and drinks have mostly been what's expected. I did venture away from simple beers and specials to order an old fashioned one time, though, and it was clear this was a mistake. I don't believe any simple syrup or sugar was used, and the fruit wasn't muddled, just placed in the glass. Not what was expected for an old fashioned, but not bad. I'm not one to demand things remade so I just enjoyed what I was given.

Typically our timing has worked out such that we're finished with our food and our time in the bay runs out, so we haven't personally experienced this but from others visiting we have heard there is some pressure to turn around bays quickly. So, if you finish your game but still have some food or drinks left to finish, you may be pressured to vacate the bay and relocate inside. Which, if approached a different way, wouldn't be the worst thing. If staff could bring a tray and gently ask to relocate a group and their food/drinks to a table that they've set aside for them inside, I feel it would go over much better. Instead it seems that people are just expected to carry all of their items as well as their food and drink and find a place inside to...

My very first time with fam, im excited. I made a reservation via Top Golf app for the time of 11:45 am to 1:45 pm (2hrs) for Tuesday, July 30th for $45. Payed the deposit $11.25 pluse $4 first time membership fee the night before with $33.75 remaining. Tuesday morning, we got there exactly 11:45am which is our reservation. From the one little boy at the desk gave me an attitude saying I needed to confirm a text, I never received it and it was my first time do how tf would i know. We went to our bay and 15mins went by and nothing, we could not play. Just stood there trying figure out the mechanics. Blue shirt staff finally comes and he had to ask one of the other ppl that deal with this to add the time... (Time should have already been set soon as i logged in) Staff had to add the time for 1 hour and 30 mins and said thell be back to add the rest of our time. Weirdly our time went from 22 mins to 5 mins remaining, which was not correct and even the guy in the blue asked if our time was given properly, we said they did but the time skipped and try to end us earlier than what was reserved. At the end, 1:30pm time stopped. We book the reservation for 11:45am to 1:45pm (2hrs) but did not play the first 15 mins or last 15 mins (a whole 30 mins) due to the bay not being set for us in the first place. We said, ok thats fine we'll be done since no balls are coming out..(really not knowing what is happening) Our waiter tried to charge me $44 pluse a separate $6.25. I asked why when I'm only supposed to pay $33.75. He said we played an extra 15 mins which is a lie and that the extra $6.25 was for the 15 mins we "supposedly" had extra time on. Not true, so he had manger come in. We waited 20 minutes for the manger inside the second floor so we went to the 1st floor, still no manger. I asked the front desk and they said the manger is on the way. Another 15 mins and I had to use the br, soon as I went the manger showed up. When I was done I went to the manger to sort things out. She wanted the receipt, which I did not have, so she went to get it. Another 15 mins past and we left. Got a call WHILE I was driving, could've been in an accident if I answered and again I don't check my phone while driving. A voice mail from a Victoria, manger, called to ask about my payment and low-key gave an attitude. We wasted 1 hour so no I wasn't waiting any longer and ofc I was going to pay when I got home, I'm never like that! Finally, I called back, to pay, mind you I pay through the app so I'm thinking the money will come out via app, guess not. I ended up being RIGHT, ofc. Payment $33.75. Then she said "there was food bought, do you want me to add it to the game". I said no, my sister used her OWN credit card for her OWN food and signed her signature to HER final bill, i paid for the game..Now that I think about it, if our reservation was from 11:45am to 1:45pm (2 HRS) and our bay did not let us start until 12pm and stopped at 1:30pm (1 HR AND 30 MINS)... and they charge $6.25 per 15 mins... I'm owed $12.50!! But that's ok, lesson learned... will I go back??? Will I recommend this location?? Will I even get my $12.50 from the first 15 mins not played and last 15mins not played??? Will I get a reason why the manger, Victoria, kept hanging up on me soon as I gave her my card information that I had to call again to tell her I unlocked my card for her to place me on hold then hang up on me again to then finally...

I went to Top Golf to celebrate my birthday a couple weeks back and for a first time Top golfer, I was highly underwhelmed and disappointed. On a good note, it was very clean and there wasn’t a long wait for our bay. The food was okay. The concept of the experience was attractive, but everything else…thumbs down. The service was terrible although our wait person was sweet and tried their best but definitely was a novice. It was over 90 degrees even with the fans and we had to ask for water which came well after the alcohol we ordered. That should have been a given. We had kids in our party but we didn’t receive kids clubs till half way in our time. The game was glitching and the person who explained the rules to us went so fast on top of the fact it was hard to hear over the fans. They did extend the time 15 minutes for the inconvenience but the minute we decided not to extend time further, we were rudely asked to leave. There were so many little things that went wrong due to lack of communication or the kitchen not having something to the food coming out at different times. Despite the numerous apologies, it didn’t make the experience pleasant especially on an extremely hot day. We were asked if we wanted split checks to which we agreed but the server decided to randomly split however they saw fit. When I asked why they didn’t just ask if they didn’t know who had what, I got another sorry. What am I supposed to do with that. For the sake of the constant annoyances, we just took the checks and figured it out. After we paid (because we were trying to get out of there), I noticed a few things that were wrong and were overcharged on the bill and I was going to let minor stuff go but decided to address it. While it was being rectified, I opened my present and read my card. The server came back over and while I was reading and learned it was my birthday. IMMEDIATELY after they said word for word “I’m sorry but I’m going to have to kick y’all out since you’re not extending the time”. I’m in complete disgust and confusion. The completed butchered my experience with all of their mistakes and as soon as they hand me the check after fixing an issue they made, they literally say we have to get “kicked” out? That was the icing on the cake for me to give this honest review of their poor professionalism. Someone who happened to be there did advocate to say no it’s okay but we said we were leaving and...
