This place is solid. I would rate it 4.4 overall. The food is authentic and tasty and reasonably priced, but the fact it has late night delivery until 1 AM, I will give it a full 5. Not that many restaurants have delivery past 12 AM during the pandemic, and most who do have poor food quality/taste. Not Tres Jalapeños. The food is very authentic Mexican with tons of flavor. I have ordered from here twice now for late night eats, and I highly recommend it. The ingredients are fresh and prepared nicely. My only frustration is the Quesadilla section of the menu is a little misleading. The small "Corn Quesadilla" section of the menu, are actually tacos. It was good, but not what we expected and we were disappointed because we wanted a Quesadilla not tacos.. The "Jumbo Quesadilla" on the menu, is the actual traditional grilled Quesadilla you are looking for. Other than that, I will continue to order from here, for a late night snack. It was $30 dollars, including the 20% tip for two nicely sized meals, which is reasonable. And I recommend using Uber Eats. Delivery...
Read morePoor service. I decided to give them another try after waiting almost 2 hours for my takeout last time. On Ubereats it said my order was out for delivery, about 50 min later and nothing so I called the store. The person said my order was about to leave the store and it would arrive in 15 minutes. Not even a minute later I get a call from the delivery person that they’re outside. So it had left the store prior to that. I have no idea what the delivery people were doing but there were 2 of them. The same happened last time where I had to call the store and remind them to deliver my order. If I hadn’t who knows how much longer it would’ve taken. The shrimp taco “salad” was not a salad. Could tell it had been sitting out a while and I got some shrimp with lots of cheese for my meal. I don’t like writing negative reviews but I won’t be ordering again. They have received multiple complaints about their bad service but are doing nothing...
Read moreThe most mediocre burrito I've ever had. Soupy beans, like three pieces of chicken, and mostly unseasoned rice. That's literally it. How do you make a flavorless tinga burrito. Like, it should accidentally been more flavorful than it was.
The other burrito on the order was just half of an avacado, and (the afformentioned mostly unseasoned) rice.
Don't get me wrong, not the worst burrito I've ever had. But it is at $13. You could literally make it better at home with a youtube tutorial.
Also, they forgot the chips in my order. Why in gods name would I pay $8 for a small tub of pico, with no chips.
If everywhere else is closed, and you absolutely need a burrito, this will do. But considering that's pretty unlikely, go...
