Excellent food! Very nice people! The chicken tamales and chicken mole were todays specials and were awesome! My wife and daughter love the chicken enchiladas! Everything we've eaten here has been fantastic! We drive to Philomath to eat here a lot! This is our favorite mexican place in the area! Highly recommend! (Food can take a little bit but it's worth the wait.)

I just ate the fish taco special with two tacos, beans and rice. WOW! Incredible flavors! Honestly the best meal I've had all year. Great family run establishment. Food is always fresh and delicious. Daily specials. Prices are reasonable and service is quick and friendly! This place is easy to miss. It's inside the Chevron station. Find it, and eat here.

Salbutes are hard to find and these were a delight! The chirmole turkey was tender and delicious. The turkey on the panuchos is smokier and goes well with the spicy roasty red salsa. The turkey caldo was perfect for a rainy winter day. Well worth a stop for the Yucatan specialties.

A little different than your standard Mexican affair because I think it's specific to a region. The food is great though, and they have a variety of sauces with various heat levels. Solid beverage options. The customer service is very good. Definelty hope this place makes it.

Edit— one of my favorite Mexican spots and in a shell gas station no less. Everything I’ve tried here has been good or great. The flavors can take time to get used to if you’re used to your standard Tex mex stuff (no shame in that game).

Anyways! The good feels wholesome and the flavors are great. I really love their rice. Their meats are flavorful. The prices are reasonable. The food may take a few extra minute compared to some other Mexican places, but it’s worth the wait. The red and green sauce they have are flavorful and spicy.

The two people I see working are friendly and provide good customer service.I believe they’re are from the Yucatán region in Mexico— many of the dishes are specific to this region.

I will be seriously bummed if Philomath loses this place. If you haven’t given this place a...

Amazing tacos and sopas. This was our first time here. And we will definitely be back. The food was very tasty and not overly spiced. The chips with the salsa and the guacamole were very good. I had a chicken sopas . It was delightful. The cornmeal cake with refried beans and chicken were baked and then the rest of the toppings put on. So yummy! The fish taco was also excellent. My wife had three chicken tacos that comes with rice and beans and the rice was amazing with a smoky flavor. Very good food. We definitely will be back! I highly recommend this little place in the Mobil gas station. There's something amazing about Mobil gas when they have these neat little restaurants tucked inside with the best food you...

The tortas are now even more delicious. Tried the cochinita torta, pastor torta and the carnitas torta. All 3 went from being amazing before to absolutely perfect now due to the new bread. The first time I walked in was over 2 years ago. All the menu choices with names I knew nothing about caused a little confusion at first. Now I have learned that Irvin is an absolute magician in the kitchen. You can get nachos and tacos and burritos at a lot of places. Trust me when I say that the further you steer out of your comfort zone, the more you will appreciate his...
