If I could score you less I would..this afternoon I was expecting my sister and her family for a visit and I know they love subway I had the brilliant idea to have subway here for when they got here so first I tried and tried to order on line I even made a video of me trying buy a footlong get 1 for free deal but only online orders. Then I tried to call ......that should have been a sign....so then get in my car to go to subway it's roughly 20 25 minutes away. Get there and the girl that was working on making a customer's sandwiches said someone will be with me shortly not a problem i said and was looking at the menu board when this guy came from the back room looking angry, pissed, mean said what kind of bread do you want...I looked up at him and said pardon me ...then he said what..kind...of .....bread. this was down out. Well I said still in shock how he's talking to me.i said well I tried to get online to order this and I tried to call ahead but I'm needing 4 footlongs and with a loud sigh and obviously even more pissed off because I came into orderthen he stated to me I'm not even suppose to be here they called me in. Well that's when I spoke and said you shouldn't have came in. He threw me a dirty look then a co worker asked him a question and YELLED at her.by this time there's 3 employees working up front and there's other customers that heard this. 1 set of customers was there the whole time right behind me they said they won't be coming back well I'm going back and talking to the manager about this I have never been to any type of restraint and talked to like he did and yelling at his co workers. It's almost unbelievable..it be nice if they have video .if he was my employee he would have been fired...
Read moreAs a business owner myself, i'm very impressed with excellent customer service because it is so lacking and the younger people working have little concept of what it takes to deliver excellent customer service. That's why this interaction with Zach in Philomath Subway was such a standout and i felt compelled to share this review.
Upon entering, Zach was the only person working, and he was serving another customer in front of my family of four. I noticed he was very patient with this other customer as her demands were very specific and he was unphased. Then the phone started ringing and somehow he was able to answer the phone and deal with a customer's odd sounding requests on the phone, while still engaging with his customer as he finished up her order.
Then it was our turn...my wife and my two young children who were bouncing around and creating a somewhat chaotic environment. Zach was very kind and spoke to my kids and answered all of our questions and proceeded to make us three delicious sandwiches and had a positive attitude and took pride in what he was doing. It made the experience stand out and were impressed with his excellent customer service.

Read moreI had tried to place an order on-line on the Subway App from the Philomath, Oregon restaurant for one of their specials and it wasn't working, I tried calling and was told by a recording that they were not taking any phone orders so I drove down to the store, fairly upset for the trouble I was going through and the branch's G.M., a guy named Zack came over and helped me. He was very polite and gracious and did everything he could to take care of me. He called the Franchise Owner and got an okay to overide the system to make the order right. Zack certainly went the "Extra Mile" to do the right thing for the customer. Thanks, Zack!!!! The only thing I would add is that I personally think a person who is a G.M. should have the authority to overide an item for a couple of bucks....Just my opinion, for what it's worth....I gave the service a 5 for the way the order was handled in the...
