Alden at the Phoenix Art Museum, located between the Phoenix Art Museum and the Phoenix Theater in midtown Phoenix, is a beautifully reimagined culinary space that blends art, culture, and cuisine. The 3,862-square-foot restaurant overlooks the Dorrance Sculpture Garden and offers a modern American menu inspired by the diversity of Phoenix, featuring seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. On our visit, we began with two expertly crafted cocktails — the *Skyline*, made with rye, sweet vermouth, and spiced honey, and a classic *Manhattan* — both balanced and flavorful, a promising sign for their developing bar program. For appetizers, we enjoyed the *Burrata* with beefsteak tomato, pesto, aged saba, and crostini, followed by entrées of *Faroe Salmon* with curry smashed potatoes and broccolini, and the *KFC Steam Bun* with Korean honey glaze, slaw, and house pickles. Each dish was beautifully presented, thoughtfully seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Whether you’re visiting the museum or the theater, Alden is the ideal spot to start or end your evening — an elevated yet approachable dining experience you won’t want to miss.

Restaurant was bright, and beautifully designed with a very well thought out contemporary decor that elevates the art museum. Isaiah was a great host and took care of our family with 3 toddler! The food is delicious and menu offered a nice selection. Patty melt was very juicy and well flavored. The salmon was perfectly cooked, medium at the center and crispy skin! The Mac and cheese was decadent and had such depth of flavor. The grilled cheese was by far the best we've ever had anywhere. Our 4 yo/6 yo boys loved everything, and most particularly the tomato bisque! I'd highly recommend this restaurant and looking for to coming back!

Highly recommend dinner here!! Everything — drinks, starters, main dishes and desserts — was insanely delicious. Honestly the best dining experience we’ve had in AZ in years. Customer service was equally fantastic, as well as the fact that it wasn’t too loud and you could have a conversation at your table without straining. Can’t wait to come back, and so happy to see Conceptually Social in this new space — such a great way to end an afternoon strolling through the Phoenix Art Museum!

Conclusion: The convenience and dining excellence convinced us to return every time we come to the museum. The atmosphere is upscale supported by a likeable sound track. Drinks were great, not only to the taste but not overfilled with ice. I enjoyed the "Pacific Modern" drink for dessert. Our servers were friendly and engaging, and responded quickly to requests. We ordered the calamari appetizer (excellent) which was prepared in such a way that it was not chewy. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the prawns were a satisfying meal. Somehow we had room to devour the chocolate mousse cake. Sorry, no...
