This particular location, nestled in a prime area with ample foot traffic and community appeal, initially opened with promise and flair. However, several months into its operation, I’ve begun to notice a troubling inconsistency in food quality that warrants attention—not out of disdain, but out of genuine affection for the brand and its potential.

Let’s begin with the protein portions. Whether tucked into a breakfast burrito, layered in a salad, or nestled in a breakfast bowl, the meat—particularly the chicken and steak—has become noticeably sparse. A few scattered pieces hardly satisfy, especially when compared to other Angie’s locations across the valley, where the portions are more generous and balanced. This shift feels less like a culinary choice and more like a cost-cutting measure, and it detracts from the hearty satisfaction Angie’s is known for.

That said, the seasoning remains a standout. The flavor profiles are well-developed, and the kitchen clearly understands how to build taste. It’s a shame, then, that the execution sometimes falters—most notably with the chorizo and potatoes, which have arrived burnt on more than one occasion. Once my go-to breakfast bundle, this dish has regrettably fallen out of my regular rotation.

I went to this location for the first time today and got a Harvest salad with falafel. Normally I go to the location on Thunderbird near 43rd Ave where the food is always consistently delicious but I was closer to this location so decided to give it a try. When I got home noticed that the salad had barely any apple pieces, well there were 3 small pieces to be exact. I ended up cutting up part of an apple I had on hand to make up the difference. From the first bite the flavor profile was way off then what I am used to getting at the other location and I was extremely disappointed. There was an overwhelming spicy heat that blocked out the other flavors. Not sure if it was coming from the falafel or what. I wasn't able to finish the salad. It was so disappointing because I have been craving this salad and thought all locations would be consistent with the menu items served. We have actually eaten here quite a bit. When you order to go about 50% of the time they will miss ingredients or if you pay extra to add ingredients, they will charge you for them and not put them in there. This last week I ordered three salads to go and they did not put chicken in any of my salads. I contacted customer service through their website And they thought it was appropriate to reimburse me $15 for the $26 in salads that I had ordered that I received with no chicken. I tried to explain to them that I didn’t think that was reasonable and they said the chicken I ordered was only $2.99 worth of chicken per salad and so that it was more than enough to purchase extra chicken on my next visit.
