ATL Wings — Restaurant in Phoenix

This review is based in multiple doordash pick ups and the couple times I figured I'd give this place a chance. I regret giving them a second chance, but the doordash orders from here do pay well! I truly wish I could give this place a better score but there's no reason for it. Came in and all I saw was high school kids running the place. Loud cussing, ignorant vulgar music playing with children present. Nobody's in uniforms, employees seem to have girlfriends or their partners hanging out inside and outside the restaurant. Every employee I saw was on their phones, sitting down or outside smoking Marijuana. They come in through the side door WREAKING like weed. The kids at the register have no personality. Nobody smiles and there's no warm greeting when walking in BUT I did have the employee behind the counter yell across the dining room the second I walked in, will this be for here or to go? I will say this though, there was ONE elderly gentleman in uniform with glasses that seemed to be the only one with any type of pride(manager/owner maybe?) Seen the guy on a few pick ups while doordashing before actually coming in and trying this place(huge regret) but this guy was the only one on a ladder wiping stuff down, sweeping and mopping and cleaning tables. Then he dissappear into the back and comes out with loads of trash. I could tell this guy actually cared, whoever he is, deserves a raise. The atmosphere is very dull and dormant inside and you can tell nobody enjoys being here. There was even an employee who wished death upon an elderly customer and was allowed to stay on the premises after doing so while i was picking up an order a few days ago. Never a manager in site and if there is, they seem like they have no control over the staff. The wings we had seemed like they had been sitting in a basket for HOURS before being served to us. Fries we inedible and soggy like they weren't even cooked long enough. I honestly don't know how this place is opened still and corporate or whoever the owner is doesn't care enough about the place to ensure their establishment is run properly, safely and professionally. Not a single uniform is site, holes in clothes, no non slip shoes loud ignorant student staff oh and let's not forget while eating, a group of high school kids kids show up in baseball and football uniforms and just walk behind the register and start helping themselves to food and drinks from the kitchen. This place is wilder than Buffalo wild wings with just a splash of unethical behavior and unprofessionalism from the management and owners. Come here is your bored and need entertainment. This place is a joke. If I was the owner, I'd step in and start making some major changes before these kids run you out of business. Come for the entertainment...

It's not the worst nor was I sick right after, but ATL needs some TLC ! There was 5 of us and tried a few sauces and anything with red sauce you just taste vinegar! Chef special is garlic Parm with red sauce and ruined it too. Honey BBQ was pretty good. All the chicken was served in cardboard containers even if eating in not to go. And there was at least 1/2" of sauce and grease in the bottom of each container! The show string fries are soso, they're mostly limp greasy and short pieces. The main plastic cover on front of the soda machine says try with flavor shots, well the 4 flavor buttons don't work or are empty! There is some brewed tea next to soda but NO sugar or any sweetener. Next to tea is 5 juice machines that don't even tell you the flavor let alone if it's with sugar or not nor does it tell you calories, so the is orange color, red color, blue color, dark red color, and green. The counter is coming apart by the drinks and needs cleaned. Behind the drinks on the wall is a few beer taps with no handles and couple of advertisements for other mixed drinks. But sad to say they said they are not serving alcohol , well shouldn't that all be removed then? There is wet naps on the counter but paper towels or napkins is a mystery for a bit, till you look around the room and see there is paper towels dispensers on the walls like ones in a bathroom, but we're empty except 2 that still had a 2" stack left in them. You would think a chicken/BBQ, eat with your hands would have lots of napkins and easy to find! Sat at 2 tables and both wobbled and out of our 5 chairs 2 wobbled. Was sad that we heard they had good wings/food for a couple of years and or friends wanted wings so we said we heard good things about ATL and then was sadly disappointed! So... ATL needs...

Not a great experience and won't be returning. My sister was super excited to share this wing shop with me, and I was craving fries so we decided to stop in and grab some take out. I ordered the buffalo chicken fries with 10 wings traditional, half and half (atl dry rub, and honey Hot), my nephew got the same loaded fries with a chicken sandwich, And my sister just got the atl fries with cheese.. I'll start with they for got the ranch I purchased, then my sister, yes large portion of fries but a small portion of cheese sauce (which we watched the cook pour from a plastic bag)🤦.. then my nephew got the spicy chicken sandwich, overcooked and dry. The bun became mushy from grease. Again this wasn't the real issue. Now on to the Buffalo chicken fries that we ordered. Pound of fries that were covered in ATL seasoning with chicken pieces, (tiny overcooked pieces that could crack a tooth), that were tossed in hot sauce and put in a container. fries were soggy and chicken was over cooked, and no cheese, ranch or bacon. Nope not happy. Then we get to my wings, omgoodness they were extremely overcooked, soo dry and hard. it was inedible. I threw them away $13+ for just those. 😭 I Spent over $50 dollars, no thank you.
