Let’s see what can I list off that is bad about this store? 1. If people don’t go directly to owner nothing will be done about any complaints or anything that goes on in this store simply because the manager is best friends with certain female workers. The veggies are always old and get sling everywhere and end up being mixed in with everything. Would avoid this place for sure if your allergic to any types of vegetables they have because they all and up mixed anyway with the sloppy handswork from certain workers. Red vinegar was used to clean almost everything in the store for a while but once enough people complained they switched to white vinegar that should only be used to shine some steel sometimes not clean and sanitize it. So who knows when the last time this store has truly been cleaned. Cleaning materials and trash cans often get left on prep tables and do not get cleaned after they are left there and for some reason no one sees a problem with this. This used to be a more than happy work place and people loved going to their job every day. But this store has slowly gone downhill and now it’s reached its boiling point. If you can go to one of the other 15 locations within 5 miles of this one. Not too far and far better quality of service and respect for human life and workers at these other stores. Update: plenty of people will come with bad experiences from this store just as big as your army. Ratings for stores aren’t meant for family members to try and up the ratings with fake reviews and such. Matter of fact it says not to do that when you first start reviewing and commenting. With all the bad comments already on this page not like mine makes a difference. Seems like almost everyone in the reviews sections has had bad service and the reviews to back it up. So clearly she is doing something wrong. I’m not deleting my whole review because this stuff still needs to be heard. Normally a great spot to go to. Always a little slow but good personalities. As well as always clean and good quality food which is why i didnt give them a 1 today. However on today's trip I was beyond frustrated. I was standing in line for more than 20 minutes only one guy behind the counter at dinner time. He had a good attitude and was really trying to keep up but had a line 7 deep. The manager (she had introduced her self to me and my wife at a prior visit) was very visible sitting in the lobby (shirt and name tag visible) with her friend (2 of them) all on there cellphones while this gentleman was doing his best but struggling. She had no interest in jumping in at all and was looking irritated that we were here in the first place. They were almost out of bread and many other items. I get supply chain shortage but all part of the experience. At this point I have never been so disappointed in a manager. I have worked in fast food for years and was a manager. Never In my dreams of being a manager would I have let an employee be alone when I could do something about it. Again the young gentleman was very upbeat happy go getter attitude. If I was able to employ him I would have hired him on the spot and given him a bonus to walk out with me. Just absolutely irritating to see people taking advantage of a great work ethic. Unfortunately he didn't have a visible name take to give a shout out. On previous visits (prior to them seeing me) I could hear the manager and other employees bad mouthing the owner and saying how she doesn't care about employees and she is cheap. As I have visited your establishments all over the valley, in the past month I have visited this location, and each time it got worse!! The first encounter is when the A/C broke leaving the main door open didn't help in the middle of summer as subway workers sweat to death! 2nd visit saw I assume was the health inspector as she was checking temperatures. Again A/C broken but was running! 3rd visit which was most recent, I wanted to order Tuna lady replied sorry we're out! But I can make some if necessary! So I didn't want to be rude I could see shes been sweating and over worked! I ordered the steak, egg, and cheese. Apparently the eggs were left out in room temperature because they didn't fit in the cooler?? Am I literally trying to get food posioning? Let's not! I finally told the lady to contact the labor board because Subway is running a sweat shop! But what really gets me that Subway is Locally Owned what person in the right mind makes people suffer under those conditions? Obviously not a smart owner that happends to live in AZ! I'm very disappointed in Subway for not taking care of thier employees. I would have walked out in the first day under those circumstances!
