Barro's Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

My family and I ordered in. The pizza came out before the garlic bread and wings... Those both came out about 2 min afterwards. I used to be a pizza thrower, so I know pizza, and I know it should always take longer for the pizza to cook than the appetizers. Dough was tasteless and I even tried to put some extra parmesan and oregano to give it some flavor... I tried using their shaker filled with garlic powder, (which by the way should never go in a parmesan shaker) and as you can guess I had an immediate mound of garlic powder on my slice after trying to carefully put some on... Thanks. Wings were cold and overly sauced. Wings actually looked like they had been under a heat lamp. They are also a fatty wing. Meaning the chicken quality tastes like it's a fatty chicken meat, not lean. Also, garlic bread had no flavor... They had no cherry coke, manager forgot to order it. They didn't even offer me marinara for my garlic bread or ranch for my pizza. I had to ask after receiving my food. Overall I'll never be going back. Spent about $34 and thankfully didn't tip. I'm actually so disgusted and disappointed with the taste I'll probably leave the rest of this food here... If you want good pizza I'd recommend il Primos, Anzio's Italian Restaurant, or even Santisi Brothers. Thanks for wasting my money...

P.S. To the Manager that I know will be reviewing this: Don't waste your time responding to this. I don't want your sympathy and I honestly wouldn't want to give you my email or personal number. If you have any questions ask the workers on the night of 12-6-17. The 2 girls are honestly not doing their job efficiently. The brunette for instance doodled on cups and screwed off. Also I wouldn't even want my pizza in your pizza boxes that they were folding. I saw numerous times the boxes touching your dirty floor, and one of the girls head went into the box for some reason... Also, during the hour and a half of my family being there, (mostly because I'm writing this) I was only asked if I needed anything once. The manager literally had to tell one of the girls to go check on the other customer. Yeah just one other... Should've looked at that before sitting down. To me that shows your not worth dining in for... As far as your food, and it's horrible flavor, I just don't know how to recommend any improvements other than to find a new chicken supplier, and to find a different dough recipe.

P.S.S. Been sitting here and they still haven't come to my table to offer anything or even a Togo box for the food that I wouldn't want to bring home anyways. The girls would rather be on their phones or putting on lip balm, or even scratching/rubbing their face. Rule # 1 is that they shouldn't be touching any of those things while being around food or on your clock. Can you say HEALTH CODE...

Normally a good experience but worst experience ever. Called in my order, pizza and wings (easy right). Went in and gave enough time, got the wings and threw my change in the tip jar (like .75 cents so not a lot but something). Asked her for the pizza too and she said there was none, and so I said yes I had ordered it on the way. There was nothing but she knew what someone else over the phone had said (so she knew someone forgot and messed up), but nothing was done. They charged me for the other pizza (not a huge deal), it came out to $13.30, she didn’t even cover the .30 cents. I’m ticked I even bothered tipping them. If your managers read this know I am not happy. This is not how we treat people where I work when one of us messes up and it’s not how others should be treated.

Update: I have only heard back from the social media side of Barros. No one from Barros the store has cared to contact me. Definitely gettin my pizza from a few other places that are actually...

I have lived in Arizona since I was 19 years old and I'm now 43 and my first pizza place I found was Barros and I fell in love until 2 days ago :( I meant to write early but I have long work shifts and today is my first day off . I crave Barros I crave them so much and kona day is Saturday but since I work a twelve hour shift I can't have :( I passionately tell my students learning to drive my lust for the flavor .
