Went in after a long day (worked 6am to 4:30pm) and all I wanted was wings for me and my partner. It was the BOGO Free Tuesday deal day (apparently only at main restaurants) and I had a 6 free wing coupon for my birthday.
Found out that instead of BOGO free it’s BOGO 1/2 off. More than I wanted to spend but I wasn’t willing to drive all the way back to Metro for wings so I ate the cost, whatever. We couldn’t get the birthday deal to work in the app, the manager just kinda shrugged about it saying he didn’t know how to app worked. Didn’t have any way to give me the deal still and even said they weren’t sure if they even had their own birthday special despite being the same company just a different type of store front.
So I’m already exhausted, now I’m frustrated I just want my food to go home. Order everything and am waiting and look at the receipt and it’s only showing two flavors. I requested three. I asked them to check (giving them the receipt, never got that receipt back) and make sure it’s correct and the guy spends a few minutes fighting the computer entirely failing to even be able to find me in the system despite JUST ordering. Then another associate tries to jump in at help, also can’t find me. She goes back to the back to visually check, comes back says all is good, and so I’m just like fine ok. I get my food and drinks and get home, I have 10 less wings than I should have had, 2 flavors of sauce instead of 3 and I am furious. The same girl that checked the back was very polite when I called in the store, and apparently I’m getting a call back tomorrow by the other manager but this is ridiculous. There’s no reason it takes two people to check if something is correct or not only for it to be even worse than originally expected to be after confirmation it was fine.
And then on top of all that the wings were incredibly dry like they’d been on a heat plate for a hot minute. The entire experience soured me not just for BWWG but BWW as a whole. I already don’t go often and this just left the worst taste in my mouth.
Hopefully they can make it right tomorrow.
Edit: they never did call and I haven’t been able to make it out to them. I also filled out the website review and requested a reach out that way...
Read moreLast night, we ordered via the Buffalo Wild Wings website and used BWW gift cards to pay for the order. The order was delivered through DoorDash. We got several calls from our dasher about the restaurant being out of items or flavors we had ordered; we were told the restaurant would give us traditional wings to replace the boneless ones we had ordered that they were out of.
When the order was delivered, we were missing half of it! The restaurant did not replace the item they were out of. The restaurant didn’t attempt to call us directly, even though all our contact information was entered when we placed the order in BWW’s website. So, when we called them about this mixup, the manager Rachel told us that because DoorDash had delivered the food to us, this was “out of their hands.” And kept trying to blame it on DoorDash. If we ordered through THE COMPANY website, with COMPANY gift cards, how on earth is this DoorDash’s fault? However, the manager insisted this was the case and that we’d need to get a refund through DoorDash (??).
So then we sat on hold with DoorDash for close to two hours to be told, why yes, we didn’t pay through DoorDash, so the refund would in fact have to come from Buffalo Wild Wings, since we paid through their website with their company’s gift cards! We then called the manager once again, who kept insisting they couldn’t refund us. She took our name and number down and said the general manager would reach out to us today to find a resolution. This has not happened. There has been no follow up.
This is beyond disappointing - this is theft. How can your store be okay with taking people’s money and not providing the things that were paid for, and then refusing a refund? And not follow through to make it right?
Update as of 01.10.24: No one has called me back, the store is ignoring my calls and I can’t get even get a hold of the general manager since the store manager Rachel can’t help me. This is theft! Now I’m out $70. Don’t eat at...
Read moreSTAY AWAY from this place. 3 months giving them a chance after chance to have at least normal service experience and just because is my nearest wing place, I tried and they NEVER CHANGED . -About 4 times my waiting experience was worse than a doctors visit. -2 Times I came back to my work with no food. -Always a was behind the employees the never answer to you, or help you, You must need to keep begging for buying the food. They treat you the worse. Like if younwere asking for free. -The worst day was On monday oct 7 around 3 pm . The lady there ,black lady (little heavy, she is there all the time) and all "workers" there are the same always . But this time was the worse day there. Store was empty no custumers. After waiting for 10 min. while she was cooking, she got closer to front desk looked at me (only eyes ) and I asked her : Hi , how much is the special in the window? She never look at me and never say a word, she went back to the kitchen TOTALLY IGNORING ME like of I was a ghost. After waiting another 5 minutes she did the same came to front counter pick up something and I asked: Hi can I order?. SHE TOTALLY IGNORE ME AGAIN and gave me her back and walk away to the very back until she was out of sight. -While she was walking to hide, I asked her twice," hi can I order"? She never showed a sign of nothing about my presence. -Even worse After waiting waiting I had no nothing from there, at least a normal person on the street will show you some reaponses if you ask for something. -Incredible but this is normal in this place. -Thas was the last time I tried to get something from this store. -Even When people go for free food to the bank foods is treated so much better than if you want to pay...
