Recently moved here from Florida and just discovered this place yesterday. The place is very clean and bright, with a positive vibe. Samantha greeted me at the counter with an upbeat energy and a pleasant and helpful attitude. I took her recommendation on the turkey cranberry sandwich and I added a Mac and cheese side. The food was excellent! I enjoyed it so much I dragged my wife here the next day (today as I type this) and that review is below. The counter was definitely busier this time but the wait wasn't unreasonable. I ordered the protein bowl and again added a side of Mac & cheese and my wife ordered the salmon with cream cheese on toast with a side salad of cranberry w/nuts and quinoa and an iced Chai tea latte. She loved her food and her tea. I wasn't as big on mine. I don't hold it against the establishment. I tried something new and it just wasn't my for my taste buds. I still loved the sandwich from the previous day. My last rave is for Marcus. My wife and I were seated next to the food pickup area for the servers. Marcus picked up dishes from our table twice while he and several other servers were waiting to receive food orders. Marcus made an impression with his attention to customers and great attitude. Thank you to...
Read moreWildflower is generally clean, pleasant, and reliable. I am giving them a three-star review because I am monumentally disappointed by their removal of the spinach and feta pastry from their menu. That pastry was responsible for 2/3 or even 3/4 of my visits to wildflower. It was by far the best pastry available in North Phoenix, and there is no substitute. With its death, I find that my desire to patronize wildflower has gone from regular to 'occasional whim'. The pistachio cruffin they have introduced in its wake is yet another overly sweet, too heavy abomination in a market flooded with this type of pastry. Wildflower management, take note. The spinach and feta pastry was unique and delightful in its quality and what it brought to the pastry market. Your failure to market it is not reflective of any shortcoming of the pastry, but of your presentation of it. You didn't even suggest heating it up, which was the only real way to enjoy it properly and release the nuance of its deceptively mild flavors. Your finest creation has been betrayed by your inability to address your average customers lack of imagination, and you slide further into indistinct mediocrity. I weep.

Read moreOn a nice and rainy afternoon, my wife and I decided to hit up Wildflower after the storm had let up. Went in and saw that they don't serve pasta until 3pm so we decided to drive around some more and come back.
My wife loves butternut squash, so I was excited to have her try their seasonal butternut squash. I ordered the turkey cranberry sandwich and got their potato soup for her and I to share. When we got home, I was disappointed to see how little sauce there was on my wife's ravioli and how hard they were.
However, this review does have a very happy ending! My wife called and spoke to Theresa, the manager, who apologized immediately and said she would make my wife a fresh batch of ravioli. And as a token of apology, she even gifted us with a slice of their delicious chocolate cake. (I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but my wife is. That being said, it was delightfully moist and very tasty.)
The remade ravioli were way better and we were both very pleased at how the situation was handled. Normally we don't make a habit of complaining but we wanted to extend our thanks to the manager for how she handled it and would encourage people to go in and give them a try. The soup was just right for...
