I am The Foodie. Had the day off. So I want to find a hole in the wall kinda coffee shop. Well I found it. This small coffee shop was tiny but great vibes. It had great music old vinyl records for sale. Friendly service. We first order one ice coffee and one hot coffee and you nailed it some of the best coffee I had in a long time. High marks there. Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches one on a croissant and one on an English muffin. I did asked for the sandwiches to be toasted. So they both had sausage, egg and cheese. Well the sandwiches both came hardly toasted. When ever you do toast an English muffin you expect a crunch when you bite into it. The sausage had no flavor egg also bland(at least some salt and pepper) the cheese was only in the middle of the sandwich and seem like Kraft single served cheese (like plastic around each slice.) I asked ketchup we got I little plastic cup which is fine but I put it on our sandwich it was like jelly consistency. We did eat what we ordered. Other things that I had problems with is this place had small signage on the building.Only had a faint color coffee flag by the road. Other than that no road side signage to draw in business. Our server was nice but when we left she said she was bored. The guy making the sandwich seemed like he could care less. When I cook I'm always interacting with anyone I'm cooking for. Just giving someone food with little energy just gives...
Read moreThe old guy who works here is so freaking rude. He talks a lot of stuff about people under his breath, and then when he finally talks to you he doesn’t speak up. Causing you to ask him to repeat and he then gets pissed. I thought maybe he was an employee since the last time I came there were others working, but my assumption now is he may be the manager. On my third visit he was here again, and still rude!!!
Yeah this place will definitely go out of business if he is still around. Elitist prick. No one even says hello when you walk in. I’m sure he has his regular people he acts fake to meanwhile.
I thought I found my home coffee shop I can take friends to, but eff that. I’ll stick to the others; instead of dealing with an unwelcoming bitter queeny 70 year...
Read moreSo this place is a hidden gem. Right outside their doors they had their (what I assume is their seasonal menu) Halloween menu, with different drinks and what they contain. Super appreciated because I like to know what’s in each drink lol. Once inside I was greeted by a very pleasant man at the register, friendly and soft spoken. I inquired about their popular “Afterlife” drink with “zombie whip” (green colored whip cream), which they were happy to make but sadly informed me they were out of their “zombie whip”. The woman making the coffee saw my disappointment and made it from scratch. I’m from Miami and no one is that nice where I live! When they gave me my drink it was so damn cute and delicious. I plan on returning tomorrow, awesome coffee and...
