@cucara_macara_icecream is our new neighborhood ice cream shop! They have tons of dairy free options and make everything in house with 🗣REAL FRUITS AND NUTS. Flavors included - Soursop, Passionfruit, Chocolate, Guava, Mango, Walnut, Strawberry Watermelon, Pinenut and MORE! Today I had Dulce de Lece with Coconut/pineapple. We enjoyed hibiscus, mango, rice pudding, and peanut ice cream. Peanut was the standout, just heavenly. Rice pudding had bits of frozen rice, but the taste was vanilla-laden, quite nice. Five stars for the ice cream and the gracious, friendly owner.

My only reason for four stars is that the store smelled strongly of disinfectant. We were grateful for the cleanliness, but the smell was off-putting until our noses got tired of noticing it.

An absolute GEM. Found this place while traveling and googling “ice cream”. It had really good reviews so I decided to stop by. They did not disappoint! All ice cream is made in house by owner. Very authentic and delicious. Flavors vary from your usual coffee, cookies and cream to more exotic like mammey and cheese (queso fresco). They also sell other goodies like fresas con crema and flan.
