King Wong Chinese Food — Restaurant in Phoenix

Food here is really good. One of their employees, Sam, is great. Always has a smile, greats you happily and makes sure you have everything needed before you leave. That said, the girls are rude, no personality, won't talk, and on one occasion when my order was wrong one of them argued with me saying what they gave me was what I ordered and that even what they gave me didn't come with rice. So I pulled up my order on my phone, showed it to her, which wasn't what was being given to me. Her answer was I was showing her an old order. Then I showed her the date of the order, and she got mad, Gave me back my credit card and told me to leave she was refusing to serve me. she went inside, talked to someone and a different lady came out. I told her what had happened and that my order was completely wrong, and that even what they gave me had no steamed rice. She then informed me that, that particular dish did not come with rice. So again, I pulled up the website, opened up their menu and showed her the dish they tried to give me, saying it came with steamed rice. She told me, that was incorrect, the dish no longer came with steamed rice. So I said ok, but again, that wasn't what I ordered and I was just trying to get the food I wanted. She then said, they were out if what I had ordered, which was why they changed my order. I either had to take food I did not like or I could leave. I left. Went to a friend's house, had her call to place an order, she asked for my dish I wanted, was told ok, then they asked her if she wanted anything else, so she inquired about the dish they told me I had to take. Asked what it came with. They informed her it only came with the dish and steamed rice. So, now according to them, they did have my original dish to sell. And the dish they told me did not come with rice, suddenly did. I still eat here, but I call to see if Sam is working first. If he isn't, I go somewhere else. And depending on who answers, sometimes they say he has quit. Which again he hasn't. The owner needs to look at who is working for them. If they are that dishonest about the food alone, how honest are they with...

Very disrespectful and childish!!!!! I placed an order over the phone, verified my order twice with Maria mind you she did not once repeat my order even when I asked her if she got everything i ordered. When they delivered my food I checked it they only had half my order and something I did not even ask for. I called back and Maria answered I told her that they gave me the wrong thing and that I was missing some stuff she then asked me what I ordered as I'm telling her she cuts me if three times telling me that's not what I said and I told her I confirmed with you twice before I hung up. She then tells me that the food I did not order she will pick up and that it can not be eaten I told her that's fine because I did not even order it then she tells me I did and that all the calls are recorded like I was lying. She then tells me that I have to wait another hour for the food I did order and that she will have to charge me for that and I told her that she made they mistake not me and to check the recording and she tells me if I want the food I have to come get it myself, mind you I gave a $10 tip for them delivering it to me. So I tell her that I don't think that's right that I have to go get it when I payed for them to deliver it and she's starts saying well you didn't order that and your wrong so at this point I am for her manager and she doesn't speak so I ask to speak to her manager and she hangs up. So I can back and she hangs up twice and when she finally gets on she says she is the manager so I asked to speak to the owner and she tells me to call back in a few hours because their not there and I asked her to have them call me she says okay and tell her that her hanging up on me if very unprofessional and she said I didn't hang up on you you did and I tell her no ma'am I didn't and she put me on mute so I tell her please just have your owner call me and I really hope these calls are recorded. I have worked customer service for over 10 years and I would never have done any of what she said it did. Please please when ordering from this establishment have them repeat your order to you don't take Maria's...

I HAVE ORDERED FROM THIS PLACE SINCE I MOVED INTO MY NEW HOUSE AND THE FOOD IS USUALLY GOOD NOT GREAT BUT GOOD. I ORDERED THE MOST BASIC STUFF ON SUNDAY NIGHT RIGHT BEFORE THEY CLOSED FOR DELIVERY. ONCE I RECEIVED THE FOOD I IMMEDIATELY COULD TELL IT WAS COLD NOT EVEN WARM BOTH DINNERS WERE SOGGY AND IT TASTED LIKE THEY JUST THREW WHATEVER THEY HAD LEFT INTO THE THE DINNERS. I IMMEDIATELY TRIED CALLING THEM BUT THEY WERE CLOSED SO I PUT EVERYTHING IN THE FRIDGE AND FIGURED I WOULD CALL MONDAY. I CALLED MONDAY THEY WERE CLOSED SO I CALLED TUESDAY AS SOON AS I WAS OFF OF WORK. THE OWNER\MANAGER WAS THE RUDEST PERSON I HAVE MET IN A LONG TIME . ACTING LIKE I WAS TRYING TO CON THEM OUT OF 2 DINNERS. SHE TOLD ME THAT I SHOULDN'T OF ORDERED DELIVERY IF I WANT IT FRESH, THAT I HAVE TO EAT THERE FOR FRESH SHE ALSO TOLD ME THAT SHE HAS NEVER EVER HAD A COMPLAINTS AND I WAS THE FIRST ONE SINCE THEY HAVE BEEN OPEN. I SAID I HAVE BOTH CONTAINERS FULL OF YOUR FOOD AND I WOULD LIKE THEM TO BE REPLACED AND ALSO TOLD HER THAT MOST OF THE TIME FOOD IS GOOD JUST THIS LAST TIME.MAYBE IT WAS CAUSE YOU WERE ALMOST CLOSED FOR THE NIGHT? SHE TELLS ME AGAIN I NEVER HAVE COMPLAINTS I WILL REPLACE THIS ONE TIME BUT NEVER AGAIN. I EXPLAINED IF THE FOODS NOT COLD AND SOGGY THEN IT WONT EVER HAPPEN AGAIN BUT THEN SHE TELLS ME I HAVE TO PICK UP I EXPLAINED I DON'T HAVE MY CAR I CANT BUT ILL TIP THE DRIVER. SHE KEPT TELLING ME HOW I WAS WRONG AND SHE WILL NEVER REPLACE ANYTHING BECAUSE ITS MY FAULT I ORDERED DELIVERY (even though they are a delivery chinese food restaurant) . I TOLD HER TO KEEP HER CRAPPY CHINESE FOOD AND THAT WAS THAT. LESSON LEARNED ! IF YOU WANT TO EAT COLD SOGGY CHINESE FOOD AND BE TALKED TO LIKE YOUR SOME THIEF STEALING 2 ORDERS OF FOOD AND BASICALLY BE CALLED A LIAR THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.
