Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Phoenix

I ordered a cake a month in advance and asked that it be all vanilla because that was what my son wanted for his birthday and the guy told me that was no problem. When I arrived to pick it up they couldn't find my order and had to start decorating it after I got there to pick it up. They had to ask me what size & color it was supposed to be & what was supposed to be written on it. The writing and frosting is all super messy and my sons name on the cake looks misspelled. To top it off when we cut into it it wasn't even all vanilla like I asked.

Updating to add that upper management replied to this review saying they wanted to fix the situation, but once I got in contact with them they started emailing me being quite rude saying that their GM claimed that I had never asked for a specific flavor of cake (which was the first thing I asked and the literal only reason I placed a custom order rather than buying an ice cream cake at Frys) and they informed me that they didn't have the cake ready when I came to pick it up because they said they don't start working on custom orders until they're paid for which no one ever told me at any point when I scheduled a pickup date and even spoke to someone the week before my pickup and they said "we'll get started on that for you". They basically tried to act as if the whole situation was my fault and didn't actually fix...

When the craving for French fries and soft serve hit, there is only one place to go!! DQ! As I was preparing my list of what to get, I remembered my first "Brazer burger" in 1977.
