I was in the area and decided go try the restaurant and placed a to go order over the phone. I ordered the Eastern Papaya salad with chicken wings and 3 servings of sticky rice. The price for the papaya salad and wings was a great price at $11.95 considering what other Thai restaurants sell their papaya salad for around $10 just for the salad alone. I grew up eating traditional Lao and Thai food so I was excited to try this restaurant but I was met with disappointment. The rice was packed in tin foil which kept it warm which is a plus, however the rice was really moist and wet and got stuck to my fingers so it made it difficult to eat. The combo came with two wings with some chilli sauce. I tried the wings and they had no flavor at all 😔 I then tried the other wing just to make sure and yes it was bland as well. I then opened up the container for the papaya salad. It comes with a cabbage wedge which was nice but once I tasted the papaya salad it had no flavor at all either, tasted nothing like papaya salad. My excitement had vanished and I just ended up dipping the rice into the chilli sauce as my meal because the chilli sauce was the only thing that had flavor. If I'm ever back in the area I may give this restaurant a second chance or try one of the other Thai restaurants in the area. When i picked up the order the staff was friendly but the food I got was not worth the...

This was my first time coming to Taste of Thai and it certainly won't be my last. It's a small mom and pop shop. We were seated right away. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The portions of food are far from small. You can easily split 1 dish amongst 2 people.

We started off with the Pot Stickers, which were crispy, warm and delicious. We also had the Crab Puffs. They were fried to perfection and it had good amount of filling, extra crispy and served with plenty of dipping sauce.

My Entrée was The Beef Teriyaki served with Fried Rice. The beef was tender and the Teriyaki sauce did not overpower the dish. It was well balanced. The fried rice that came with this dish was so good and flavourful. Honestly, this could've been a meal by itself. The only bad thing about my dining experience here was that the portions are huge. You won't have room for dessert! 😆

I was hoping to try the Coconut ice cream and the Sticky Rice! Well, need not worry, I'll be back soon to try the next delicious Noodle Entrée and finally get to try the Sticky Rice!

I would highly recommend Taste of Thai. It's definitely a...

Look, been to this place before and it was awesome. Today not so much. The waitress, while having a smile on and a nice tone to how she talks to customers, her attitude was rude. The rolling of the eyes as she walks away after asking for things, sorry but you can’t fool anyone. And to top it off our friend knows Thai and can hear her speaking it in displeasure of guests. The food is not as great as it was before. The man who was at the window legit touched every single item as it was being passed at the window, with his bare hands! Making the plate look nice touching without gloves. So disappointed to have this experience as it seems everyone else seems to have enjoyed it. But sorry, not coming back and not recommended. And to the lady waitress today, stop asking us if we need to go boxes, when we aren’t done yet. You just want to kick us out after our 30 min...

Ordered this Thai food for the first time this evening. I used to live in Taiwan and have had authentic Thai food. I understand this is the States, and everything is made to American tastes. But this food wasn't a taste of Thai. It was a tragedy. The chicken satay was grilled and had an odd bologna flavor. The peanut sauce, which is by far my favorite of all sauces, was glorified Skippy peanutbutter with some spices added. The teriyaki beef was good, but the fried rice it was served on was loaded with undercooked onions and no other veggies. The potstickers were overcooked. The crab Rangoons were just cream cheese. This glorious mess cost 54$. I could have fixed the 1.50 instant Ramen and been better off. Don't waste your money.

We stopped in for dinner on a Sunday evening and want to go back! We started with the appetizer platter—something for everyone. Kids shared a delicious Pad Thai, my wife enjoyed the fresh green curry, and I had spicy noodles. This is the best Thai we’ve had in Phoenix. The flavors were spot on, portions perfect, and the ingredients were fresh, especially the veggies. You could taste the eggplant and green beans in the curry, no mushy bean sprouts, and the oil was spare compared to some Thai noodles that come saturated. The servers were attentive and the food came out quick. Tofu comes steamed or perfectly fried.
