Zzeeks Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

We have ordered from them twice. Both times they messed up our orders. The first time was about a month ago and they gave us the wrong wings and the wrong pizza. It was a very expensive order probably more than I've ever paid for pizza, So they brought us back what we were supposed to have but then it was wrong again! So my fiancé called and they handed her to four different people trying to talk to a manager but the employees said they were managers trying to not get in trouble and ended up not being one. And they were rude as hell. So we were supposed to get a pizza free after the manager listened to the call even tho there was no consent to recording or anything saying they were recording and then never got back to us. So my fiancé convinced me to give them another try again yesterday. Just a simple thin crust extra cheese. It was definitely not thin crust and there was no extra cheese. And it was cold. And we live not even a five minute walk away. The delivery guy was nice and did a good job for his first night. Props to him. But we tried to call back immediately and they were closed. So we just waited until morning. (Because we didn't even eat it). It was gross. Then we go today to get the pizza they messed up last night plus buy a calzone and some breadsticks and they were all super rude. The owner or whoever he was said were not allowed back even though that's completely their fault lol. Trying to act tough or stand up for his place or something in front of his crowd.. Like I was ever going back anyway. Waste of a lot of money. And said they've had three wrong orders this week and gave free stuff away and two of them were us. yet This is only the second time we went there and the first one was a month ago. He was just mad. And didn't know what he was talking about. Trying to convince us he was right. When the customer always is in my experience in retail. Which me and my fiancé have both worked at pizza places. And the other main lady was being super rude and asking if we paid for the other stuff in a super rude tone and being a straight * the whole time to us. I'm not paying that much for something and then let it go when they screw it up. were not pushovers lol. We didn't even eat the pizza from the night before and I told him we took pictures of it if he wanted to see them. but he didn't care or want to see them. He just absolutely knew they were just perfect human beings and never mess up. So we got kicked out because they don't know how to make pizza basically. This is the worst place I've ever been for any kind of food period. Or customer service. It blows my mind how terrible and rude they were. Stay away from this place. I'm telling everyone I know not to support there little business. The pizza is not even good. And the dough is still like wet and soggy inside. I highly advise not to go. I never write reviews. Or really care honestly. I just couldn't believe this place at all. Little Caesars is better than Zzeeks. I recommend buying a frozen pizza and warming it...

Was there today for the SUNDAY Wing Special. Ordered 10 wings and a pizza. Upon sitting down I realized they charged me the regular price on the wings. Went to the cashier and told her she did not give me the special Sunday wing pice. She said, "oh that's how they rang up." I asked for the manager and he point blank told me they don't give the Sunday special price unless you ask for it and I did not. HUH??? I was in a little shock considering the special is posted on their front door when you walk in and it does not say you have to ask for it on Sundays. He ended up crediting me the difference but I was not happy about his response at all. He seemed very uncaring and as if I was being a bother. To make matters worse, shortly before we left I ordered 20 Honey BBQ boneless wings to go for someone else. When I sat down I then noticed that this time I was given the special Sunday wing price but there was a surcharge for the Honey BBQ sauce. Again I went up to the cashier who was clueless and could offer no explanation other then, thats what rung up and then the same manager came out and explained there is a surcharge on certain sauces. In very small print it does state that but does not specify what sauces and honey BBQ is a pretty common sauce. He was adament about it and not even nice about it. I told him this would be the last time I ever come to ZzEEKS. Then when I get the wings home to the person I had ordered them for, you didn't even give me boneless wings, you gave bone in!! The food was also overpriced and mediocre. The rudeness got me more then anything though and the feeling that they were trying to get extra money out of the customers. Zzesty Zeeks Pizza is great New York Style pizza. This place has so much to offer and the owners will go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your purchase. The Ahwatukee location has booth seating set up with a small television so you can enjoy a little sports action while trying out the best priced beer in town. They also have several tables and large flat screen televisions around the indoor dining area walls typically showing some type of sporting event. There is an outdoor patio area once the cooler temperatures return. Fridays they set up for Karaoke.

The $5.00 Lunch special is just unbeatable. The "slice" of pizza is basically 1/4th of a pizza plus a drink. This would be a great place to run in an grab a quick bite to eat with a few friends. Seriously. Where do you get a lunch for under $5 bucks these days???

The menu has the typical pizza restaurant items. Four different styles of pizza crust: Original, GlutenFree, ThinCrust, or 2x Dough. New York style pizza, calzones, breadsticks, cheese bread, dessert sticks, salads, hot sandwiches, delicious wings, meatballs with marinara sauce, jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks, friend cheese curds, fried mac and cheese, corn dogs, cajun fries, and spaghetti. For drinks they have beer, pepsi products, iced tea, and a cooler with monster drinks. Also, they now offer a Gluten Free chicken ceasar wrap that is extrememly refreshing, but one of my new favorite items that I just recently tried is the fried pickles! I had heard of places offering friend pickles, but you really have to sample them to get the full appreciation. These things are great! Additionally, they have Eeggee's as well as Dipping Dots! There is something here for the whole family.
