Gravitate Smoke & Vape — Local services in Glendale

I have always loved this place. I've been coming here for years now. I have even continued coming here when I moved over 10 miles away because the service was awesome the staff was great the prices are good and I just all around enjoy coming to the shop. However, tonight I cannot say that I had the usual great experience. The young lady working tonight seemed irritated that I walked in the store and was extremely condescending when I asked for an item in particular. And then I asked for a certain brand of vape and the condescending attitude continued. I was going to purchase a vape of a different brand however because of her attitude I just walked out and told her to have a good night. I think that's a shame because I've always loved this shop. And although tonights experience was extremely off putting and definitely out of the norm, I'll still continue to shop here, just not at night when this particular rude person is working. The sign does say they're hiring on the door. Maybe they could be so lucky as to replace such a foul employee. People like that really do deter customers from coming back and it's a loss for the owner. But as I mentioned, most of the time the service is exceptional and the owner has always been very good to me. I've enjoyed conversating with him in the early morning hours while frequenting his shop. That's the kind of rapport that will keep me coming back. I can't let one bad employee ruin it for me. Apart from tonight's experience the store is amazing as is the owner and all of the other employees I've had the pleasure of encountering over the last several years. My rating of this establishment is not based upon the store as a whole or the service normally received, simply a rating based upon my experience tonight and the employee who was extremely rude. Any other day I've walked into the shop I would give it 10...

Alright so try to make a long story short, I just moved back to the glendale area and was significantly disappointed by the quality of smoke shops/stores around town until we just accidentally came across this one. Low on butane a few nights ago we googled and found Gravitate. Ran in last minute to get some. (Google said they close at 10 tho and I was told they close at 9 and we got there at like 859) I work in CS so I didn't wanna be that jerk who took up their time when they're trying to close but the guy, David, super friendly didn't mind one bit. Super helpful to everyone in the store and ourselves, knew all the good info and had great suggestions. We only bought the butane and ciggarettes and those were reasonably priced but while we were there we noticed they had some killer prices on peices in comparison to the surrounding shops, plus they still had some deals going on! So at that moment we knew we would be back. Went back today and I totally regret not getting the other guys guy's name who was there because he was so cool... Super friendly and helpful, let us check stuff out peacefully and didn't make us feel anxious or rushed on a decision or pressured to buy anything. We ended up buying a beautiful peice for a killer price and I absolutely love it and am so happy about my purchase. When we checked out, WeWe mention we met David and mentioned that their customer service together and the shop prices would definitely be have us back again. I don't normally review smoke shops but I was kinda blown away about how much I enjoyed this one. It felt so comfortable and the prices are great. Staff is great. 10 out of 5...

I’ve been A customer for five years now and I’ve never had an issue, I love the lady with black hair she is amazing. But today I went in and there was an old lady who refused to sell me anything even though it was not for tobacco use. I am over 21 and I don’t have a drivers license.
