My 15 year old daughter was invited to a quinceanera at the last minute. I initially set out to just settle for a department store dress, so I threw my husband's sandals on, dressed myself in the most unflattering, comfortable outfit I had and threw my hair into a pony tail. I looked horrendous and I was bringing along my 3 year old and 10 month old to boot! I quickly realized my mission would fail as it was prom season and all the stores were cleared out. Not wanting to settle for something completely mediocre and also out of time, I called Lizzie G's and arranged to stop by. I was embarrassingly under dressed and having carried a baby in and out of multiple stores that day in the Arizona heat while searching for my daughter's dress, I looked ashamingly disheveled. On top of that, the last minute event meant we had a lower budget, which I informed the shop of. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly by Joel who thoroughly assessed our needs and brought confidence to my quiet, modest daughter. When my daughter was trying on dresses, there was another appointment also at the fitting rooms. They were trying on much more elegant, higher priced pieces and I felt intimidated. To my pleasant surprise, Joy measured my daughter, made suggestions and waited on her just the same as the seemingly more high profile client. Joy and Joel were genuinely interested in finding a dress that my daughter was comfortable and confident in, without discrimination. In all my years, I cannot say I have experienced the same hospitality in any other boutique and I truly appreciated it. We wound up ordering a dress that arrived in just two days! When it came time to pick it up, my daughter said there was no need to try it on before taking it home. I thought she was crazy but she was confident Joy had measured her correctly and pinned the larger size to show as an accurate example of what the smaller size would feel like. My daughter was correct. We got home and the dress fit perfectly. It takes talent to size like that! All in all, from the first phone call to taking the dress home, I was thoroughly satisfied and felt welcome, genuinely cared for and confident. After looking at all the places you would think to go, like David’s Bridal, etc with no luck .... I found Lizzie G online through a google search. Omg, when you walk in you are in a wonderland! The most beautiful dresses, jewelry and shoes you have ever seen! Joy the owner is an absolute doll and her customer service is top notch. I was confused at first when online it said to text her number for an appt. I was thinking, oh boy this is gonna take forever. Literally like 4 minutes later she texted me back and answered everything and set me up to come in right away. Her help for the perfect flower girl dress, then order it in the color needed. She was a perfect 10! She texted me right away when it arrived and made sure to know when I was coming in, so she could have it perfectly steamed and ready to go! I only wish I had known this place sooner because I would for sure have bought my bridesmaids dresses there too! I can’t wait for the next formal to go to as a guest, and shop her store. And my earrings for my wedding. I have never seen anything more perfect! I searched everywhere and none for my vision I had! You MUST visit Lizzie G Formals!! It is an unbelievable shop because it has the most GORGEOUS BEAUTIFUL formal gowns I have EVER seen for ALL ages. It has a large variety and they are very well displayed and neatly protected in clean covering. It's a clean and well organized shop! You'll be sure to find EXACTLY what you need. I did!!! Their accessories for JUST GORGEOUS!! I was referred to this shop by another shop because I was looking for rhinestone beading belts for alterations on my wedding dress. I needed them that day because my alterations got moved up to the following day. I had no other options! I was stressed and anxious to find the belts, desperate!! Joy and Joel worked with me to find EXACTLY what I needed and at a smokin deal!!!!! They are professional, friendly, nice, and kind!!! They didn't allow me to walk out the door until I was satisfied with my purchases. They have FABULOUS stuff, you have to see it to believe it!!
