Just went by for lunch and got a bagel to go. When I got my bagel it only had cream cheese on 1 1/2 side of the bagel (half of the top of the bagel) when I began to ask about it I was cut off my a guy named Shawn. He cut me off and barked $1.50! He did this with his back to me. When I tried again to inquire about the sandwich again -restarting my original sentence (because it was obviously made without the normal amount of cream cheese) he cut me off again and said I had to pay Margaret. Then he yelled for her to come out. I was relieved to speak to someone else. When I mentioned to Margaret my concern he again interrupted me and tried correcting me. I told him that he was being unpleasant and ugly with me. He got even more combative and showed more of his temper by challenging me saying "You're calling me ugly!?" I said "no I didn't say that, I said you are being ugly WITH ME" which I am sure he knew. He was just using any excuse to let out his temper and be confrontational. Obviously this man has some anger problems and I just wish he didn't work somewhere I like to eat. Also, when I told him that I didn't like that he was being unpleasant he condescendingly said "goodbye and God bless". His manner was negatively angrily charged, unpleasant and combative when he said this. I was not expecting such a horrible attack on what should have been a normal lunch...
Read moreIncompetence is an issue here. I’ve given this location and the location on thunderbird multiple chances and I won’t be returning after today. Specifically today I placed a mobile order so I didn’t have to talk to anyone just go in and out and pick up my order on the shelf (I love restaurants that do that). After returning home, I noticed that an item was missing for my breakfast. So I drove back and didn’t make a big deal of it and grabbed the missing item. Now, a couple hours later my husband is about to come home from work on lunch and I went back to my Einstein bag in the fridge to set up his Turkey sandwich and cookie combo. Opened the bag and saw that the chocolate chip cookie isn’t there. Two items missing on an order of five items. I’m too busy now to go back to the store so I called to say my husband will be picking up his missing cookie I paid for. On the phone the employee asked to see the receipt when he comes in and then the employee said “yeah I can do that for you”. Okay but there shouldn’t have been 2/5 items missing in the first place that we need to come back twice to get it fixed?! You aren’t doing anything for me when I have to output this much effort and driving to fix a simple order. Before today issues involved forgetting items, a bad waiting queue system, and a burnt bagel. I have to find a new bagel place now but...
Read moreEinstein's Bagel Company is always an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all smiling and helpful, and it was clear that they were passionate about their work.
But the real standout was the food – it was delicious! We ordered a variety of items and were impressed by the quality and flavor of each and every one. The avocado toasts were some of the best we've ever had – the bread was perfectly toasted and the avocado was creamy and flavorful. The kids loved their farmhouse breakfast and bagel box, and we also enjoyed a delicious hot vanilla latte.
In addition to the great food, Einstein's Bagel Company has a great selection of bagels, spreads and other breakfast items to choose from. The store was also very clean and well-maintained, which was much appreciated.
