My boyfriend and I have been so excited to have a great, easy sushi place less than a mile from our house. We’ve awaited their opening and finally got to have dinner there tonight. Everything was absolutely wonderful!!! We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed watching the chefs perform their craft. Although they are still working out some opening kinks, all the staff was very attentive and welcoming. They’ve put a lot of time and thought into the aesthetic the restaurant and it has a great vibe. Music was also not too loud which was nice. I’m not old, I just enjoy actually hearing the people I’m with. Can’t wait for it to cool down enough to enjoy the patio (they have great misters but I HATE being hot while eating). But to the food. Soooo good! They started us off with some delish yellowtail sashimi and a little cucumber salad. Both were soooo good! We ended up having a full order of the yellowtail sashimi, ono nigiri (which if my person favorite but hard to find, so I was thrilled when they had it) spicy garlic edamame (really good but a little messy), the Snow White, and The Guilty Pleasure. Everything was so fresh and delicious! This will definitely be our new go to sushi spot and we will be trying everything!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. I was there during the Friday dinner rush and there was a good vibe and energy. They've created a nice environment for sushi dining. They have patio seating which overlooks the parking lot, so, in my opinion, inside is better. Staff was all very friendly, and busy. I was amazed to see how much effort the chefs were spending on to-go orders (I can't imagine sushi takeout or delivery). I ordered the sushi and sashimi combo to cover the basics and to mix things up I ordred their 911 Roll. I am no sushi expert but all the fish seemed very fresh and expertly prepared. Portions of sashimi were very thick sliced and generous. The 911 roll, also very large, was good but a bit generic in flavor, the filling could have been anything - to be fair, I say that about most rolls I've tried. I sat at the bar and was well looked after by all the service and chef staff. Their prices were competitive. With their happy hour menu you could keep it reasonable if you wanted. This a great addition to the neighborhood and I plan to return.

This was a spur of the moment stop for me. I had the craving for sushi and was on this side of town so I picked the highest rated place out of the ones I could find in the near area. Well Sushi Crush you did not dissapoint. Key takeaway for me was the lunch special on a Saturday. Quite a pleasant suprise. I was only focused on sushi but the Korean options were appealing as well. I got a specialty roll called the Crazy Richard and some other basic rolls as well. I was very happy about the pile of Tempura onions. Very nice little side with that roll. This is a great little place and I will be back.

One of the worst sushi experiences I’ve had, and I’ve had some bad sushi in my time. Ordered my ‘goto’ order of tuna and yellowtail nigiri, a rainbow roll and a squid salad starter. Squid salad was drenched in a thick sauce with far from fresh ingredients (seaweed or squid). Choked it down but it was a 2 out if 5. My sushi was served without wasabi or ginger. Had to ask and when the wasabi was brought they pointed out that some dollops of wasabi (pickled) was already on the nigiri. Wrong move! The diner should control what the put on simple nigiri, not the restaurant. The first hamachi had a bone in it! A bone. I have never had that happen in all the years of sushi eating. Ate the rest of the nigiri, no other bones but the fish was far from fresh and totally tasteless. Moved on to the rainbow roll. To say at this point that I was disappointed would be an understatement. I’ve had better sushi at the Safeway across the parking lot. The ‘filling’ had that moist Mayo filling that even the best grocery stores try to hide. I tried two pieces and left the rest on the plate and promptly asked for check. I finished my beer (the Kirin Ichiban was exquisite!) and left after paying and properly tipping (it’s not the servers fault that the food is terrible). I promptly drove to my goto sushi place to wash the bad taste out of my mouth with proper cuisine! I had high hopes for this place but I would avoid it at all cost! If you want better sushi, just walk across the parking lot to Safeway or go to a real...

So the first thing I noticed was the amount of salt in everything. My miso soup was almost inedible ...I understand that it's usually salty but this was over the top. And then, I went to have some soy sauce with my sushi and it was horribly salty. It tasted like they mixed water and salt together and dyed it brown. I couldn't even eat it, so I ate my sushi without it. Which the sushi was just OK, would not go back for it. A little fishy tasting and there are much better sushi places around. Also- we ordered a bunch of rolls and apps from the paper menu where you just check off what you want. When the waitress came over I handed it to her and said we also would like an order of shrimp fried rice. The rice was taking forever so I mentioned it to another girl and was told it was being made. 10 min later that girl came back and said they forgot to put it in, and asked again what we wanted. We were pretty much done eating everything else by the time the rice came-it was a very long time. I will say the fried rice was pretty good. Overall between the service and food, I don't understand how this restaurant has 4.5 stars. Sorry but...
