Right off the bat, this place is not in the best area. It is near a Food City on a busy and cluttered intersection on 32nd Street and McDowell. But, as soon as you enter this small hole in the wall Mexican Food Restaurant, prepare yourselves with the best and simple Carne Asada Burrito. They use large flour tortillas, deliciously seasoned carne asada, beans, cilantro, and onions. I am very picky when it comes to my burritos and this is the ONLY place I ever go to in order to have that authentic home cooked and prepared burrito de carne asada. It is by far my favorite out of any restaurant I have tried. Usually, I find that other places have carne asada that is too dry and tortillas that are stiff. I can't ever go wrong with my burrito topped off with there delicious red salsa and an Ice Cold Coca Cola served in a bottle or cup, (bottled is better). Read moreReally had high expectations for this place based on the 4.2 ratings . However my experience wasn't at all congruent with my expectation. Let's start with the good . The Carne asada(grilled steak) burrito ordered wasn't bad . The meat was seasoned OK , wasn't great but not awful. Now the for the bad . I ordered a chicken flauta plate ( chicken taquito) and these were obviously frozen microwaved then flash fried ! Disgusting! This is not mexican food . 😝. I've had frozen taquitos from Costco that were better . The fried (hard tacos) were exactly the same gross 😝. My bill was almost 40 dollars and I basically paid for one edible order of a Carne asada burrito. I'll be eating elsewhere and try somewhere else for my...
