Far Away is my new favorite go-to for wine and light bites or to purchase my house wine. Pat and Chris are down-to-earth, fun, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable…and they are always there, which is one of the many reasons Far Away feels like home to so many of us. They are selective about what they carry, know their wines, and always have a recommendation if you’re looking for one. Their selection has something for everyone across a variety of price points. They often have “bar takeovers” where you can meet some of the vendors and receive a discount on both glass and bottle pricing that night. The food is delicious and inspired by many of their favorites from around the world. (I believe they source locally as much as possible.) I highly recommend the meatballs! What an adorable hidden gem in Arcadia! My husband and I rode our bikes to this spot and were so pleasantly surprised with our experience. The wine selection is phenomenal and there are plenty of great beers available too. We also ordered a meat and cheese tray and were not disappointed by the portion or the presentation. I was thrilled with the reasonable prices too, since wine bars tend to be on the pricier side in this neighborhood.

Chris and Pat were so friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Everything from the music to the decor was so inviting and clearly a reflection of the owners. Very well thought out space.

Perfect spot for a Happy Hour drink ($5 wines!!) or a date night. We will definitely be back!

Okay, okay, I'll be honest: when this place was opening up, I thought "another freaking wine bar in Arcadia? Oh, brother." I take it back. I didn't know what a gem we were getting.
