Finishline Sports Bar — Restaurant in Phoenix

Wish I could give no star....My 2 friends were in the kiddle of they disagreement about some stuff from earlier today. As we were walking into the bar they continue their conversation from the vehicle. Mind you each of them had only had one drink at a different bar before we decided to visit Finish Line. I walked by a group of people that were watching my two friends argue because we just had a funeral for one of our very close friends. I walked into the bar and walked down to the bar on the left side wall. I pulled out my wallet and asked if I could open a tab and I was told you were too intoxicated you and your friends need to leave. As a 14-year combat veteran I have never ever been treated like this. I tried to explain to the lady that told me we all needed to leave that they were arguing about some personal stuff that we lost a really good friend last week and the funeral was today. She didn't seem to care. I hope that was worth it because I just close the tab at another bar for just over $300. I'll be telling all of my friends never to visit this establishment. I find it funny the between I believe it was four males and four females we had all consumed the total of for maybe six drinks total at...

Awesome establishment! Me and my fiance were immediately greeted with next level hospitality, offered free hotdogs and were even brought free chips to our table! The environment is great, the crowd is equally as good and every time we've been since had been just as good, if not better than the last. This place is for the people and there's something for everyone here- whether you're going at 3pm in the afternoon on a Saturday or hanging out with your friends on a weekend night.

Definitely extremely happy we checked this place out. Neither of us are even "bar go-ers" AT ALL- but for better or worse this place may just change that. Lol! Everything is priced extremely reasonably as well.

If there's anything to complain about, it's 2 things. I wish they had a pool table or two, and the limes are sliced a little thick if you prefer those with your drinks. But who cares about that in reality!

Sharing a one star due to recent happenings. This had been my go to place for almost 2 years. Love the people and the karaoke. However they recently fired one of the most beloved KJs I've had the pleasure to sing with and replaced him with someone who is nowhere near the energy that Dave used to bring. I come in a a pretty large crowd of karaoke goers and we all love to drink as well, and I can say that as of now none of us are happy and will be finding a new establishment. We were told that the music couldn't go any louder for the songs, yet the intermission songs were blasted louder than karaoke (singers couldn't hear themselves let alone the music). Seriously, why even waste money of karaoke if you're not even gonna allow ppl to enjoy it. Very disappointed in what used to be an amazing loss. Hope the loss of business kicks the owner...
