We had lunch at Foley Ranch in @Desert Ridge Marketplace and really enjoyed outselves. The barbecue was really good and it was fun to learn that they had line dancing classes in the evening! If you’re looking for somewhere to go for good food and something to do, check this place out. #EatLocalPhoenix #AZFoodie #PhoenixFoodie #PHX #Barbecue #DesertRidge #Linedancing #phxfoodie

Great bar, music, dance floor and crowd. Come for the ambiance and the casual party atmosphere. The place is designed well, the staff seem to enjoy themselves while giving great service and you can't beat live music. I just wish I could be more complimentary of the food. First, the catfish special should be added to the menu full time as it was the highlight of our meal. To be honest, the fish should have been seasoned before coating, bot the cornmeal breading was perfect, cooked perfect and tasted great! The accompanying hush puppies were a nice surprise. the insides were moist with great corn flavor and the outside was crunchy and thick, almost the perfect gem! The seasoning on the fries was great, steak cut are always a plus. Unfortunately, the BBQ drug the score down. The pulled pork I was served was 60% fat. I want some fat, but I pulled out big wads of fat with no meat. The kitchen needs to learn to trim just a little better after cooking but before pulling. The brisket was dry and really needed sauce to be eaten. My plate it seemed they sprinkled dry rub on top after slicing and plating. It made dry brisket seem dusty, The biggest disappointment was the jalapeno sausage. It was a dried up link that looked like it was cooked hours to long. It was dry, crusty on the outside like an armadillo and due to the long cook, devoid of flavor. OK, Enough of the downside. The Honey Bourbon sauce worked well adding flavor to the pork, and the Firehouse red helped perk up the dry brisket, bit there was nothing to revive the sausage. I had the cowboy beans which were quite good and the chipotle creamed corn was very interesting. All in all, come for drinks. music and ambiance, maybe snack on some apps. I really wish I could say the BBQ was better, because I really liked the place.

Last night we stopped at the newest BBQ/Country Bar in town, Foley Reach!🌟 First of all, this place is super cute! I love the thoughtful touch of USB outlets at the booths. You can tell a lot of thought/preparation went into the decor! The bathroom is impressive but I foresee hand dryers becoming a bottleneck situation especially during peak times. Adding a couple more on the wall next to the door would definitely solve that. The dance floor in front of the stage is spacious and perfect for some two-stepping fun! 💃 Now, onto the food adventure - I opted for the One Meat Plate with Brisket, Fries, & Hush Puppies. The brisket was good, not the absolute best, but ok. The portion size left me wanting more, considering the price point --therefore I'll probably never order that again. The fries were a win, but the hush puppies, unfortunately, missed the mark as they were way too oily & slightly overcooked. The silver lining? Trading them for their cowboy beans was a game-changer – seriously, you've got to try them; they're a flavor explosion with some heat! 🔥 Just note, they do serve RC cola products (+ 7 Up & Dr. Pepper). Seems like a frugal choice as NOT many would rather drink RC cola over Pepsi or Coke. I feel like they will be more successful, especially with cocktail sales, if they upgrade to Coke or Pepsi in the future. Foley Reach has a promising vibe, & I'm excited to see it evolve in the future.🎉

The managers and staff are extremely rude. We visited this place three times. The first time we met here for a birthday party. We were late to the party, so when we got there, we did not have food but only drinks. My husband and I had several drinks each. People we knew were asked to leave their table so we made room for them at another table. Second time we went to join people, my mother-in-law came with us. Each of us bought a dinner. My mother-in-law and my husband had one drink. I had three drinks. All three of us felt sick from the food. I literally threw up and was in the bathroom during the night. The third time we went there to meet people, we brought 4 more people with us. When we got there, we had a table for four and the others were drifting in. The people next to us had completed their meal and were dancing on the dance floor. When they returned, we asked if we could take their chairs. They continued dancing on the dance floor and did not need the chairs we had taken. Please note, the waitress came to the table and took the orders that included seven dinners. Not only were seven dinners ordered, many alcoholic drinks were ordered as well. I myself, was on my third drink when a manager came to tell us we needed to return the chairs to the other table. I simply told her that we will be very glad to return the chairs when the people who were dancing Leave, and the table is needed again. It became very clear to me that this establishment created a dance floor and did not want people to stay and dance. They simply want you to eat your dinner and get out. Why then, did you create a dance floor? When the waitress returned to the table, I explained to her what had happened with this manager. I asked why would we be asked to return the chairs when we are still eating and drinking? She became infuriated screaming at me “I don’t care, I don’t care “. A few minutes later, another manager comes to the table and literally threw us out of the establishment. She asked what happened, and then said we are asking you to leave and never return. I was in complete shock. Each and every person paid for their meals and all their drinks and we were asked to leave. That night I was sick again. The food is absolutely disgusting. The management is rude and disrespectful. The owners of this establishment owe each and every one of us our money back. One of the people in our group decided to call one of the owners. It was explained that there were two people in this entire group that were being targeted for previously using a table without spending enough money. That is absolutely ludicrous. They created a place to come and dance And then they decide that you are not allowed to purchase something and use the table while dancing. The set up in this place is awful. If they wanted the people to eat dinner and leave, they should not have created an atmosphere with a dance floor and a large bar. If they want people to move from these tables quickly, they should not be placed at the dance floor. However, my group spent a lot of money and would have kept spending money ordering drinks if we had not been asked to leave. I have never been thrown out of a restaurant or any establishment in my life. Yesterday, a friend of mine asked if I wanted to go to dinner with him at this restaurant. I told him I would never eat or spend another penny in this place. He asked if I had left a review. Now I am taking the time to write this review Because people need to know that this is a terrible place. I would not give this place even one star if given the choice. Stay clear of this establishment. Food is awful and management is despicable. If you are simply going out to dinner, definitely choose from the multitude of better options in the area.

The response from this establishment is hilarious. We asked the people next to us if we could have (2) chairs. You are a bunch. Of liars. The people next to us had 2 people are the table and 2 extra chairs. Your explanation is a lie. We were targeted. We NEVER disrespected your staff.quite the...

I started off my first visit to Foley Ranch by being nicely greeted by three girls at the front desk. I told them I would be walking around and come see them when I needed to be seated as I wanted to look over the place first. Is a very large well thought out and very unique and probably expensive build that they have there in the former Sweet Tomatoes building. Their location will allow for some great success with a large amount of dedicated team members, and there are many!!!! The Bar area is what you first see upon entering the building and that’s a very attractive area. You can’t help but notice the tremendous amount of bottle cap that the bar surface is made out of. Off to the left you’ll see an outdoor area that they call the corral and that looks to be like a comfortable and cozy area to enjoy food and drink. And the next part of the building would be the main entertainment, dining area, consisting of tables and chairs and benches An assortment of unique dining experience and your own private gathering party areas. They have left the center of the dining room to be a wonderful, hard wood dance floor and the stage has its own Sound system hung from the rafters. The USA flag is the main background of the stage area and is very attractive. Also, in marquee lighting is the name of the establishment FOLEY RANCH But you will have to visit the fINE establishment and see all the work and design that has gone into creating a realistic, Montana country restaurant / bar fun gathering place. My day started off much earlier than the visit to the ranch by placing a telephone call and talking with Clay to verify the entertainment that I was looking to see if Josh Roy was still on stage that day and he also said that there is entertainment every single day of the week so you never have to worry about whether there is going to be a live band there? The answer is yes, I mentioned I talked to Clay very polite and informative on that telephone call. I walked around as I was mentioning the room and I got there a little after 4 PM before the big rush was coming in and that allowed me to find some of the managers and workers to have enough time to Chat with me . I found jeff Amanda Heidi and Adam to be very informative, helpful and interested in what I had to say and I listened to what they had to say. Amanda was my waitress. I got there at happy hour and got a reduced price on the dish I selected which was pimento cheese dip under the Starters, happy hour, priced dishes! For less than $7.50 it was a large cold metal bowl filled with fresh made house chips with a very tasty pimento dip in the center of the bowl and yes, very delicious and tasty. I didn’t have any alcohol, but I can tell you my water was served promptly with a couple wedges of lemon in it. They will offer you at the end of your meal even A, plastic toothpick and some premoistened hand wash and napkins to clean up after your meal. That was nice! Thank you to everyone at the Foley Ranch, Jeff, Amanda, Heidi, and Adam and others that I didn’t get or don’t remember their names and I’m sorry. I’d go there if I was you just to check it out. My 38 mile trip to Foley Ranch was well worth it today. Let me know what you think. For those of you that live in the vicinity, you have a very wonderful entertainment business. Thank you Foley Ranch for investing in this Desert...

My comments below were dismissed and the responder tried to illegitimize them, however, I assure you I am a “Real Customer”!

My friend and I, two of us, came on a Sunday afternoon to try the food. The food at Foley Ranch is terrible. Think crapy cafeteria food. First…Let’s talk about presentation, I ordered the brisket I received one slice of brisket about the size of a deli meat slice. Not even enough for a sandwich. It was pretty dry, bland, and looked so small, It was insulting. Next to it were paper containers (think of the french fry cardboard containers at In-N-Out) of the side dishes. They were barely half-full and so it looked cheap and both the coleslaw and the corn were very bland. We SPOKE AT LENGTH to our server about the food, the manager was inattentive.

Their barbecue sauce is absolutely terrible! What is good barbecue without good barbecue sauce? Here, you’ve got a pic of only two… and they bring you tiny little ketchup size plastic containers. The two that I tasted were NOT GOOD! It was so bad in fact that my table mate didn’t even eat one of his ribs….Not one! Why I asked: “because the sauce tasted like Heinz 57” I tasted his sauce. It was a bit spicier than mine, mine was a little sweeter. But it turns out we both had the same sauce, so maybe they just didn’t stir the VAT! Yuck. Neither of us thought the barbecue sauce was adequate. I also had some of their white barbecue sauce on my tray. It was very watery and truthfully odd and tasted like Like runny ranch dressing with vinegar in it.

He was only given one barbecue sauce, and his other sauce container had the ketchup he requested in it, so I guess that counts as you’re “allotment”, because they didn’t give him any taste of the “spicier sauce” even though we asked if he could try the third one. The waitress again reiterated that you only get two sauces… So beware! ketchup counts!

I did try one of his ribs, and it was fair. Nothing I would ever eat again. His french fries were not crispy they were soggy. He also got potato salad. It looks like it had been sitting around a while he didn’t eat that either, and it didn’t look good enough for me to attempt a taste. Everything looks like it came out of a can!

The appetizer that we purchased was their “nachos”. Now that is not a word that they should use to describe them because there are no corn chips at all. During ordering, we asked about them the waitress said it came “with” their homemade potato chips. She did not explain that it is potato chips “instead” of corn chips. We did not like the appetizer the taste was bland. The only good thing about it was it was it was crunchy and the sad news: it was the best thing that they gave us all night.

If you’re going to go …. go to drink and go to Dance. The entertainment (one female, guitarist/singer) was good for a Sunday afternoon. (by the way, the Dance floor is not as big as they said on their website, it’s much smaller than my modest living room.

An all around...
