Do not bring your expensive items here. This is a company that does not take any accountability for their work. My wife and I were referred to them by Burberry at fashion square to clean our Burberry trench coats. She had a small stain on the front which they were able to get out, but unfortunately the solvent they used brought on a different stain on a totally separate part of the jacket. We kindly asked them to re-clean it. Of course they did so, but then a different stain came out on yet another part of the jacket. At this point we began to get frustrated with the whole process. The workers at the front told us there is nothing they can do because they don’t even do the cleaning themselves. We left the jacket there and asked a manager to reach out to us. After speaking with jasmine, one of the managers, she told us that she washed it again (without even asking us what we’d like to do). This was extremely frustrating because Burberry coats have a very special finishing on them which makes them water repellant. Burberry warned us not to wash them too often because the cost of re-proofing the jackets to ensure the integrity of the water resistance can be upwards of 300 dollars. Here’s the best part. After dry cleaning it without asking, the solvent stained the jacket in another separate area. When I asked them what they could offer they said that they could give us the money back for the service ($30 lol). I was on the phone with them for quite some time trying to resolve the issue but nobody wanted to take any sort of accountability for the fact that there is now a stain on the jacket that we did not come in with. In the end she said she would give our phone number to the owner, who has yet to even call us.
If you didn’t read all of this here’s the essence of what you should know. -staff is disconnected from the entire cleaning process. -they will not take accountability for their cleaning because of this. -they do bad business and are not customer oriented -don’t expect them to make things right if they ruin your...
Read moreWe definitely do not recommend bringing any clothing items of value to Hangars Cleaners. We called them before we brought down a wedding dress that needed a stain removed. The person who answered the phone advised they do gown cleaning stain removal often, so we brought ours over to them so they could take a look. Upon arriving, the person at the front desk seemed to have no idea about the process and said they need to have the owner take a look at the dress to advise. When I asked if they had dealt with other similar dresses, the woman advised "it depends on how old the dress is, and the material used". We let her know how old it was and also provided the type of material that was used so she could pass it along to the owner. The next day, after the owner looked at it, the woman called me to discuss his findings. She advised that they couldn't guarantee that the stain would come out, which is totally understandable, but what didn't sit well with us is that the woman sounded completely ignorant when explaining the cleaning process. She had no idea what process would be used to clean it and couldn't provide any details. When I asked questions, her answer was yet again - "it depends on the age of the dress and the material used". I advised I had already given her that info up front, why can't you advise on the experience they have had with similar dresses and the process to clean them? It sounded like they didn't have a lot of experience or knowledge with gown cleaning, so we felt more comfortable going elsewhere. They may do a decent job doing standard dry cleaning for shirts and pants, etc (however we've never used them for that), but we do not recommend them for anything that is of value to you, like a...
Read moreI tried out this cleaner for the first time and I will not be back. I brought in 7 items, 5 simple women's shirts and shells, 1 silk dress and a jacket. I signed up for the free pick up and delivery. 6 of my garments were returned to me on the day promised. One was missing. I also noticed the chocolate sauce which got on my jacket was still there and there was no "we could not get this clean" tag on it. I called and spoke to someone who said they would be by to drop off my other item and pick up the jacket to re-clean it on Monday. Monday morning I got up and put the jacket out and no one came. Tuesday my 7th item was dropped off. Thursday I called to inquire about when I should leave my jacket out for pick up. I asked to speak to a manager since my first attempt at having the problem resolved had failed. The girl who answered told me there was no manager but she would give me to her shift lead. I said that was fine. She did not mute the phone and proceeded to make fun of my name and belittle my issue to her coworker and I had to hear the whole thing. I was not happy. The coworker apologized and gave me a $10 credit (which is about 2/3 the cost of having a garment cleaned because it starts at $5.95 and then they add for everything $3.00 for silk, $3.00 for sequins, $3.00 for wool. Whatever, everything which needs dry cleaning falls into the "extras" category) I was assured my jacket would be picked up and re-cleaned free of charge. I got up bright and early and hung my jacket on the door. All day went by and no one ever came to pick up my jacket.
Save yourself the stress and cost and emotional damage and take your...
