I love the food in this place but I cannot believe after so many years of giving them my service I have experienced the worst service my last two visits at Gallagher‘s in Phoenix on 32nd St. For one as a soccer team and for spending many of our meetings and our money there with them I encounter to meet the manager with the name of Ben and he gave me his business card saying that he would love to help sponsor ship our soccer team and I find it very rude of him to never respond to any of my emails. It’s ok if you can’t sponsorship but at least respond to at least one email, yet he pretended that he cared when we met him. My first bad experience in counter was as I was pregnant my husband and I and our children went over to eat dinner at Gallagher’s at about 8 PM in February on a weekday I was sitting down for more than 20 minutes and nobody acknowledged us at all I find it so rude that once we caught the attention of a waiter he said I’m sorry we cannot help you and mom this is karaoke night and there is no children allowed. They don’t have a sign posted anywhere stating at 8 o’clock children are not allowed at a restaurant nor does this ever happen anywhere else if you go to Chili’s if you go to Applebee’s there’s so many restaurants out there that you can eat and bring your children because you’re not sitting in the bar so I find it that they lost our business for one for not acknowledging us that we were sitting there for 20 minutes and And as I was bringing it and craving I am at least they could’ve given his option to take out and he said that we could and that was our final upsetting moment. second one say knowledge as they said we couldn’t help you. Then my son as a silly question what can we order to go and the waiter says absolutely not I’m sorry you guys can’t be in here, this is very upsetting so that was our first encounter that we were really upset about with this restaurant. As we try giving them a second chance the manager with the name in Ben Bak was extremely rude as we were trying to gather up some tables to eat as a soccer team he said we couldn’t put the tables together and I as a waitress in previous years would have loved to have our clientele would help gather tables but instead he yelled everybody around the restaurant looked at us and it was very humiliating. I cannot believe that this restaurant is being run in the hands of a manager who is a liar to your face who yells at you as a client in front of other customers and that the waiters are trained to not acknowledge you and just tell you that they cannot service you at all for having children I find that as a...
Read moreVisited here July 4th place had approximately 9:55 pm 25 customers, 20 inside bar (Mostly Karaoke People, 5 on Patio. We asked to be seated in the dinning room and where told it was closed, We sat on the bar side for a while but the poor Karaoke singing (Way to Loud and off key singing was way to much)and no accommodation for a baby to sit at table height, we again requested to be sat in the dinning room, was told if server was ok with it it would be ok, we asked server and she was ok with it so we grabbed our drinks and started to head over, when we got there we were greeted by I'm assuming was the Chef by his attire, He said that he checked with the bartender and it was no longer ok to sit in dinning room. So we left hungry party of eight. Thanks for nothing, and please reimburse server if she got stiffed on the one beer and coke that was ordered. Server was accommodating and friendly.
Here is a little Customer Service TIP!!!
Being proactive is an excellent customer service skill in a restaurant. Bringing drink refills before a customer asks, and ensuring that the customer has all necessary condiments and extra napkins are all ways to provide better service. A family with children may want extra crayons or a booster seat. A couple without children may not want to be seated right next to a family with three children and a toddler. If it is a hot day, bring ice water immediately, so the customer doesn't have to wait. Above all, try to anticipate the customer's needs and bring them anything that might make their visit to the restaurant more comfortable. Also a family with Children may not want to sit in a...
Read moreFirst off, I want to say the two waitresses that served us were awesome, prompt, and very respectful. That is where it ends for me. I have been coming to this place for over four years and have never encountered raw food or baby roaches. The waitress immediately took the food back and had to cooks put them back in the oven and called the manager, who by the way was not on the premises at all. When she was finally about to get in touch with him, he did show up. He shows up in shorts and a t-shirt like he doesn't have a care in the world. Now I'm willing to accept that it may be his day off so, he just came in to resolve the issue. What I don't like is when anyone tries to undermine my intelligence. I cook and I know what raw and undercooked chicken looks like. When they brought the wings back out after putting them back in the oven, they still were not cooked fully. To tell me that they cook the wings for three hours before they are served and then they cooked them again to order before they give them to customers is ABSOLUTELY crap. To not even address the the fact that there was a baby roach on one of the plates was even worse. Then you have the audacity to charge us for them. I am so disappointed in the fact that this is the type of manager that apparently thinks that this is ok. I would like to say that the other food was great but I will never go here again. I never have had this type of service from this site before and best believe I will...
