I have been coming to this store for over 30 years. My mother who was born in Germany made coming to the his store a family tradition. Today I come in to Order rouladen like my family has over all these years. I tried to call in and spoke to somebody there the night before and they said that they couldn’t take big orders that I had to come in and it was first come first serve. Well as somebody who is disabled and cannot drive, I have to find rides there. And I did I showed up today with my son excited to continue on with my mothers traditions. As I asked this very unfriendly counter person that I needed 40 pieces of rouladen meat. She rolled her eyes and took a deep breath and said “I don’t know if I have that much“ as she walks in the back room she Storms back out, finds that she has plenty of meat and looks at me with a very angry face and says, do you need anything else slice because once I slice this, I have to tear down the whole machine and you know we don’t have a lot of manpower today. Which none of this is my issue except for wanting to order Roland and I let her know that sorry but yes, I’ll order some other delicatessens to have sliced as she physically showed me her anger for me ordering 40 pieces she begins to cut them. She feels that it’s her right to tell me why she said that and she did again. I totally understood the communication about tearing down the slicing machine but really that’s not my problem , if they would’ve taken my order I could of gave them more than fair warning to do this and then she refuses to for fill my order. I will never come back to this place again. also commute out here from Queen Creek. Keep in mind, that their problems will become Your problem. Below is a picture of the line I had to stand in. As I said I have limited mobility and I have enough stamina from one outing in a day. Stamina from one outing a day.
Update: Construction after leaving this very unfriendly place I went to a butcher in the East Valley called van essence. Spoke to the manager, Keith she had 40 pieces of rouladen already sliced and said he wouldn’t have a problem slicing more for me. I ordered my rouladen and I must say the meat looks 10 times better there than it did at that unfriendly place in Phoenix. for all you people in East Valley who don’t want to drive into Phoenix and get treated poorly. then Von Hason’s meat store is your place. Time to start a...
Read moreAwesome place for all of your German sausage needs! I used to bring home meat sticks that were made in a small town butcher shop back in the Midwest and they had many different varieties to choose from. My wife is an RN and one day as she was making her lunch and her usual lunch was a couple of cheese sticks, trailmix and yogurt. She was curious as to why I would always have these meat sticks in the fridge and she decided to include 2 of them. Needless to say she loved them and they helped her stay full during her shifts. Moving back to Arizona after being gone for 14 years she wanted the same type of meat stick but we couldn't find anything good at all. We purchased many commercial ones at the grocery stores and they just weren't the same. I remembered German Sausage Company was just down the road from where we decided to settle after the move back to Arizona living! Went in the other day and bought 3 different types of sausages and my goodness these were BETTER than what I used to get back in the midwest! Wife loves them!! So glad we stopped in and will continue to do so and would highly recommend them! The brats were...

You will find the German love you desperately seek here. My family has been picking up German treats from this family for 30 years. Mom would shuttle 3-4 of her friends from the West side of town a few times a year. They would pick up the sausage, meats, an array of other consumables, but most of all they loved exchanging the Berg-Roma and other paper German romance novels. As time marched on, mom was not immune from its ravages. She became very week at the end of 2023. When we asked what she would like for Christmas, without a beat she asked for Weißwurst. I was concerned we would be out of luck the way holidays and weekends fell, and we were not able to pre-order. I showed up with a bit of anxiety, not wanting to let mom down for Christmas. To say we were taken care of is an understatement. I received lots of helpful advice, big smiles, and 8 sticks of Weißwurst. Thanks you German Sausage Company, from my...
