I was so excited to try this place & after the experience and customer service, we definitely won’t be coming back! BUYER BEWARE! Staff will make a mistake and the customers have to pay for that mistake. During our visit, a few of the items we got were charged incorrectly. We stopped by first thing Saturday morning and got three different types of lattes & three small (3 inch) hello kitty themed cakes. Paid over $40 and was waiting for food before we left. As we were getting ready to leave the cashier approached us said that we were charged incorrectly for the three cakes we got with our lattes and demanded we pay the difference for each cake which was $11! We looked at the cashier flabbergasted by her request. The cashier mentioned they pressed the wrong dessert button and charged us $7 instead of $18 per cake. There was no price on the window and had we seen each cake was $18 there was no way we would have paid that. The cakes had already been slightly eaten as we were waiting for food and there was no way for us to tell them we no longer wanted them. We were put in an uncomfortable situation where we had to pay an additional $33 for day old stale cakes. I can’t fathom how horrible this experience was and I can’t even believe we were put in this situation for a cashiers mistake and error. As a small business owner myself I accept the mistake and assume the loss you don’t go to the client demanding and asking them to pay the mistake you committed. Don’t recommend! This establishment doesn’t value...
Read moreI stopped in for lunch and a drink to go. I've been trying to eat more vegetables, but the only salad they have is Cesar, which isn't my fav. I asked for a recommendation for something that had more veggies. The "turkey" club was recommended. I also asked for a suggestion for a drink that was low in sugar. They said the mango iced tea was probably the lowest sugar.
The sandwich was okay. The bread was fresh. There was a little bit of a kick from the chipotle mayo. I was hoping for a bunch of veggies on the sandwich, but it was an average amount. It did come with a side salad though, which was nice. I was surprised to read that the turkey was house made. It tastes just like the tofurkey deli slices. The bacon had good flavor, but the wrong texture.
The drink was a sugar punch in the face. If that's their lowest sugar drink, I don't want to try the sugary ones!! The flavor was good, but the sweetness was overwhelming. I really wanted to try some of the matcha drinks, but after hearing the matcha mix and the syrups are sweetened, I don't think it's really my kind of drink. The main reason I wanted to try this restaurant is because someone recommended their coffee. I don't know why I didn't get it... Forgot, I guess.
I will probably come back to try some other menu items...
Read moreI was really excited to try Goji, but my recent visit left me extremely disappointed. I ordered a latte, only to receive the wrong drink. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the staff blamed me for not confirming my order before paying. Instead of acknowledging their error, they insisted I pay again to get the correct latte—even though I had clearly communicated my original order several times. Their complete lack of apology and their dismissive, almost accusatory attitude made me feel both undervalued and frustrated.
I truly wanted to love this place, but the poor customer service ruined my experience. It felt as if the restaurant was run by individuals who weren’t equipped to handle even basic customer concerns. I will not be returning to Goji, nor will I recommend it to anyone. I’ve also shared my experience on my vegan Instagram page because I believe potential customers deserve to know about this encounter.
Overall, if you’re looking for a welcoming vegan restaurant, you might want to consider other options.
Atmosphere was the 5/5 but the rude attitude brought it...
