I visited this amazing place today and I immediately felt like family thanks to the wonderful customer service I received. I have been looking around for some vegan Mexican food for a while and I found this little gem. It was hard to find thanks to Google not having the address listed correctly. I suggested an edit to Google so they can fix the problem. If you're having trouble finding the place, the correct address is 5835 W Palmaire Ave Suite E Glendale, AZ 85301. I will also post some pics of the outside of the place. After I had finally found the locatoon, I was greeted and given information about the menu. Everything is vegan by the way! They even have pan dulce and cookies. The menu has a variety of choices from tacos, tortas, and empanadas. I chose the carne asada tacos, cashew cheese nachos, a side of guac, and a tropical agua fresca. My husband got the carne asada burrito and the tropical agua fresca. Our food arrived in a timely manner. My carne asada tacos had pick de Gallo and salsa roja on them. The salsa roja was tasty, but not spicy at all. Everything tasted delicious. The only thing this place needs to step up is the guacamole. I basically paid for a smushed avocado. I need more than that. Add some seasoning, minced garlic, chopped tomato, chopped onion, and chopped jalapenos with a dash of cilantro and BAM! YOU GOT GUAC! (You're welcome lol) I definitely recommend this place and try the tropical agua fresca and you will...

The first time I went there on a Saturday night, i had to wait 55 minutes for my order, it wasn't busy, just another couple in the restaurant. But I thought maybe the only cook they have is making it from scratch. After that long wait, I approached to the owner; who was the cook and cahier. He told me he forgot about my order. Originally, I ordered a carne asada burrito, but I was told they ran out of the rice, so I was given a torta. Finally, i wasn't charged for the order, but I was very fustrated for the waste of time.

... To give them a second chance, I went back and ordered the carne asada burrito; it had no flavor, the red sauce it was watery, and I just felt I was eating left over in a wrapped tortilla.

.....As someone else mentioned before, they don't give you enough cheese for the nachos. Overall, I don't recommend that place to eat and I wouldn't return back.

......I rather go back to a new vegan restaurant, called Earth, in downtown Phoenix. Better ingredients, more flavor, more options, faster service, larger parking...

Giving 2 stars - at least it's vegan. Was SO excited to try this place. Ordered 5 different tacos, nachos, and cactus juice so we could try it all. Inquired about some items and the cashier said "it's listed on the menu", and pointed at the chalkboard. You would think a brand new business would want the opportunity to talk about their food and engage new customers. Everything was so salty and processed that we didn't finish any of the items (and I am NOT a picky eater- usually just grateful when something is vegan) No beans, no rice.. lots of fake meat. The juice was good, but the staff told us it is made with tons of added sugar! Threw away most of it and actually went to another restaurant. Very sad to say I...

Ok so the only reason this place is.getting 3 stars is for one reason...customer service. My hubby and I were 2 of 4 people in the entire place. And the other couple finished their food and left 10 minutes after we arrived. We ordered our food and did get our nachos right away, but waitied nearly 30 minutes for 2 tacos beans and rice. My husband had to find the guy up front and ask him about our food. He said he forgot we were there. Great thing we weren't on a quick lunch break. The food itself was not so bad. Kinda blad, not horrible, but nothing to write home to your mama about either.

We had visited Mi Vegana Madre when they had a pop up at the Treehouse Bakery and were so excited to hear that they had a store front now. We tried a variety of items for lunch today and we were not disappointed with a single thing. Everything was delicious! The burritos were pretty hefty and the tacos were loaded with "meat". We also tried the Nut-chos, al pastor torta, horchata, and a few desserts. We chatted with the owners and they even let my little ones help them decorate their Christmas tree. Great vegan food with awesome customer service. We'll be back again soon!

Having their food throughout the years, with their food truck and restaurant, I was sad to hear they closed down due to covid. I was excited to hear they opened back up in 2023! Their location is a shared food kitchen so no place to sit down, you order online and pick up with a link code, very quick and efficient! Now for the food: the food is flavorful and I love Mexican food with a vegan twist. Hoping their business succeeds and more people get to try the food!
