Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Phoenix

I visited Jack in The Box #143 on 32nd and Cactus today. I was thoughly disappointed with my experience. Upon my first of several trips I had to make back to this location, I had ordered a Jumbo Platter, an Ultimate Burger Combo and a Sourdough Jack combo. The two combos were fine, however, they didn't give a fork or syrup for my Jumbo Platter. Normally it's no big deal it happens sometimes, but when I went back into the establishment I wasn't helped by any of the employees. The employees were too busy making tacos with their bare hands that they had been wiping off on their pants. The back door to the establishment was also left wide open which is letting the flies into the kitchen. I have never been so disgusted with the lack of concern for health and safety guidelines. Eventually I was helped by the store manager. Unfortunately she wasn't very helpful at all. I asked her for a thing of syrup, a fork and my receipt because the employees felt it unnecessary for me to have a receipt when I had made my initial visit. After receiving my things I go back to my car and head home. Upon arriving to my home I come to find out that the manager gave me BBQ sauce instead of the syrup I had asked for. So I had to make a third visit to this unsanitary establishment. Finally, all of the mistakes had been corrected on my third and final visit. Nonetheless, the corrections to my order doesn't excuse the carelessness and lack of food safety that was displayed at this location. I have never had any problems at any other locations. At the other locations they follows food safety protocols properly and provide exceptional customer service. Hopefully this feedback was helpful, so that nobody becomes a victim of the countless health...

Anyway, one deserves recognition 👏 when they provide excellent customer service; without making one, you, the customer, feel uncomfortable. Allow me to elaborate.

Like when they say, "I'll do this for you this one time."

Well, this didn't happen here.

I decided to dine 🍽 in on this particular visit. It had been a long time since I've eaten at Jack's place, so I needed some time looking over the menu 😋.

I decided on the taco 🌮 combo, which, btw, for you youngsters out there isn't on the menu. And they were special Tacos 🌮 I added 😋 special ingredients, and it just so happened. It was the major who was taking my order.

It commented, "What do you think 🤔 this is Taco Bell in a laughing manner." "I don't think we do that" I replied, "I guess they must like me then, because that's my order, and they usually make it for me.

And WOW, they were excellent 👏 and YES they certainty were.... wwwwaaaaaayyyy better than TACO SMELL OOOPPPS did I use my outside voice 🤔 😅 when I said that??

The entire staff was friendly and pleasant.

UPDATE 2 years later. Disappointed with my meal. Luke warm coffee. So they are either pouring it while the food is cooking or check your burners. I guess the breakfast sandwich was okay but the hashbrowns where disgusting. They tasted like dirty grill but not just greasy dirty it's hard to describe. I like Jack in the Box so this review is about this specific location. About a week ago I went here for breakfast. The coffee wasn't totally cold but not quite luke warm either. My grilled breakfast sandwich wasn't that great, bread seemed stale and the bacon seemed old. I'm fairly new to this neighborhood and that could have been just a bad day. So tonight I gave it another try. OMG! So I order a burger meal and I said that I wanted a shake as my drink. Machines broke no shakes. Okay then diet coke. No diet coke. So I actually changed my order. At the window after paying the girl asks me if I could pull up while my fries are cooking. They don't have space to do that so when the guy behind me was done I had to completely pull away from the drive thru. Actually the exhaust was making me sick so moving was fine.
