I’ve visited Kabul Bakery & Food Market a few times, and each experience has been exceptional. Their homemade Afghan bread is absolutely fresh and delicious—something you can’t find just anywhere. On another visit, I picked up some authentic Afghan goods that I’ve struggled to find in other stores.

One time, they were out of bread, but the owner kindly suggested I call ahead so they could make sure to bake and keep fresh bread for me. That level of personalized service truly sets them apart.

I was hesitant due some negative reviews, however, I love Afghan bread so much that I decided to drive an hour to this place and see it for myself. I am so glad I did. The bread is the BEST out there, very close to the taste and texture of breads made in Afghanistan. Please don’t let negative reviews deprive you of experiencing authentic Afghan bread. We all have a bad day in our lives, & that includes businesses. Highly recommend this bakery. FYI, I am so dependent to Afghan bread that every state I go, my carry on bag is dedicated to Afghan bread. My stay in Arizona got extended, which meant now I was out of bread. it was my first time going there, and it would be my last time going there. I thought their bread it’s always fresh.. I asked the lady I need some bread. She got four pieces for me in the back. It was wrapped in the plastic. I thought they were fresh, but I think they just warmed up for me. i’m sure that bread was not From today probably from yesterday or the day before.
