KFC — Restaurant in Phoenix

I drove up to this location at 43rd Ave & McDowell at 9:50 last night, (this part of this review was a year ago) the lights were all on inside and outside but the chairs were put up. I called and the guy who answered said they were already closed.

Now, May 2022: Well, I have been here twice in the past month trying to order chicken sandwiches. The first time, 3 weeks ago, they said they were completely out of all chicken, the cook was on break, and when he does come back from break it will take 45 minutes to make more! Wait, a chicken restaurant is out of chicken??? I emailed KFC corporate office, received a reply with case # that they will get back to me shortly. Nothing. I sent another email referencing that case #, same response. Still not have heard from them. So tonight I drove through for chicken sandwiches. I have a coupon for BOGO. An hour before closing, they are out of chicken sandwiches. I asked can I substitute something else, BOGO with the coupon, the lady said yes. I said can I get some tenders then? She said they only have chicken. (I think to myself, tenders are chicken, aren't they?) And the fryers are off so they can't make any more. (So, that means they have nothing fried fresh? The fries must be under the warmer for another hour until they close?) So she means they only have pieces, apparently. So I ask, what pieces can I get with the coupon? She can't do that, she says. "You said I could." "No I ditn." I repeated exactly what I asked, and what she replied. "Oh well I didn't understand you." She says. Eyeroll and drive away. I don't know how this location stays open with this kind of...

Its make me mad when employees have to lie! If you dont like your Job quit and let someone else work...I went to KFC on 43rd and Mcdowell got there around 8:40pm on 7/7/2018 to buy a 16 piece meal for fam that was coming unannounced. When I arrived I asked the Cashier for a 16piece of original chicken...her response was (we have no more chicken..if you would like extra crispy it would take 30min ) the person in the kitchen says (we only drop chicken as its order)my response was (can you drop original instead of extra crispy?) she replied (no we cant ) I ask why are you guys open if you have no chicken? She said we can’t close till 10pm...i asked for the cashier to call and ask the store on 7th ave and thomas to see if they had chicken...she left to the back to speak with her manager named Jasmin and Jasmin the manager told the cashier she can’t call any other store....but she could provide me the number for me to call...I decided to leave and call the store on 7th ave and Thomas...I spoke with the manager Amanda and she was helpful she went ahead and dropped OG Chicken as i was going to the restaurant...she could not believe that the restaurant where she was at before 43rd and mcdowell was not able to help...she didnt understand why they couldn’t drop chicken since i really needed!! Plus they had over 1hr They just made me drive from 43rd and mcdowell all the way to 7th ave and thomas for no reason just because they didnt want to do their job!!!! NO WONDER THIS PLACE HAS LOW STARS !! Amazed it...

Worst service ever and ALWAYS NEVER FAILS! Went at 8pm at tonight and I was pulled to the front of the restaurant after I paid to wait for my food because it was going to be "fresh". I ordered 2 combos... With potatoe wedges...that's it.... 15 mins go by and nothing... They even gave the guy BEHIND me his food already!! So I go inside and ask where my food is... And the girl worker goes we are waiting on your wedges to cook... I am furious at this moment and just walk back to my car to wait... Finally after almost 25 mins... They come and bring me my food... 25mins?! For 2 combos!!! Unacceptable!! Until I get home.... I take the food out the bag and the wedges are OLD they looked like they had been sitting in the warmer for over an hr! I thought they were making fresh ones and that's why it took 25 mins... My chicken tenders for both combos were old as well and the biscuits they came with were hard as a rock!!! Even my drinks were wrong I asked for no ice and they put ice.... Ugh every single thing I ordered was wrong or old.... This is very up setting!!! I will for now on be traveling to a new KFC if I even decide to return to one. If I could I would give you zero stars because you guys left me with zero...
