Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Phoenix

The Pizza Hut Dine-In experience has fallen. Used to be a pizza standard to dine in but I guess competition has them cutting back. Was happy to see the plastic red cups still though. 🙂

The food was tasty fresh and hot even though we had ordered wings thinking we were getting bone-in wings but ended up with boneless ones. Didn't think to say bone-in but wasn't asked either. They actually were pretty good even if they weren't what we were expecting.

The pizza was exactly what we ordered and was tasty but it was odd, we got 1 set of small appetizer plates when the wings came out and no other plates for the pizza. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We're adults and were able to just use the same bbq covered plate but it's just strange not to get a new plate with a pizza brought to the table.

Had to go up and ask for a box and a couple times the phone seemed to ring long without being answered. It seemed steady but not slammed at this point of the night. Unsure if it was a staffing issue or a motivation issue. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I understand this kind of lack of enthusiasm for diners for Express locations and curbside ones where it's not even an option but a dine-in experience is...well, a dine-in expectation. If this location doesn't want to entertain then the dining room probably should be closed off to the experience 🤷🏻‍♀️

It very well could be a reason why the dining room was totally empty when we arrived, that people have caught on to this lackluster display.

It's too bad. We had come here hoping to remember times coming to a Pizza Hut as kids. It's just not the same anymore - or maybe it's just this location. Maybe it will improve with time, attention, or motivation.

I ordered my pizza special as I always do ,when I called I had a conversation about a special that was going on, I saw it on cable and it had to do with getting medium pizzas with 2 items for $5.99 , Come on now who doesn't like a special,as soon as I mentioned it the man became almost irate with his blah blah blah blah, Made me feel some type of way😈 did not appreciate it let me tell you, Well long story short I got to pick my pizza up and when I did I had to use the restroom and needed to have somebody open the door for me because I stood there for 3 minutes trying to unlock the door and then the lady said to me that works there of course O you need help? We've been having problems with the door well if you are aware of it then why don't you fix it? I was charged 3 times and the 3 times I said I want to see the pizza first👎 when I saw the pizza it was dried up and burnt !!😲I'm not paying for that I don't want it thank you, and I left and while we were waiting for the pizza I saw this grubby looking guy with half of his frizzy hair out of a ponytail tweaking as hard as you could if you were to tweak!!👽😫 that was a turn off right there he was grinding his teeth and he looked like he'd stuck his wet fingers in an electrical socket! This Pizza Hut had some kind of smell to it that was not gratifying , And everybody just looked blah, The energy in that place was totally off I will not go there again and it is a shame it used to be my favorite place it's so ghetto, 43rd...

If you have fallen on hard times and are in a motel, DO NOT order from Pizza Hut. If you get an incorrect order or simply didn't receive, I was told my management, Jen, at the store at 1520 N 43rd Ave that if the delivery address was a motel, corporate policy says they WILL NOT make it right. No Exceptions. So even after explaining this woman's extensive medical issues and now homelessness due to COVID, they chose to discriminate because she has to live in a motel!!!

I explained to her that I am trying to assist a very sick woman with a catheter and is septic (extremely serious)to get a meal. It's only her and her son. I also explained to her that I was just discharged from the hospital myself and I am homebound.. I found out about the situation by a weird circumstance and really wanted to help. Jen said under NO circumstances will they help!!!! Although we asked for contactless delivery due to this woman's fragile state, the driver refused to bring to her door OR to the office and forced this poor woman to go downstairs, in the parking lot and search for this young, healthy driver only to be handed a cold, sloppy pizza!Pizza! only has this location lost my business, PIZZA HUT has lost my business forever. (I didn't even include the part where I had to call after I had ordered and was told, "I can't help you right now because I am in the middle of something...
