This is a family owned restaurant, and it’s delicious. I ordered the barbacoa plate and it was delicious. Juicy and tasty. My son ordered a breakfast burrito and he says he gives it a 5 star for the flavor. Everything tasted fresh, the food, the tortillas, the orchard and the recate, not only was it on sale, it was very cold. Just how I love it. Thank you for being great!

I generally come here when I am working in South Phoenix in the mid day. It’s a decent place for meetings. The owners are often on site. The prices are great. The food is fast and fresh and the ladies behind the counter are very nice and fun to converse with. They have me a flan for my birthday! Yo puedo practicar hablando español! Jajajajaja

I was looking for a Mexican Food place in the area I was in. I prefer small mom and pop type places, so this place seemed to fit. As usual, I had 5 grandkids and my daughter in law with me, so we always try to dine out on a budget. If that's your goal, this probably isn't your place. We got 5 meals from the kids meals and 2 adult entrees. We spent around $60, but then went back to the counter to get a side of guacamole and one of sour cream. They added $14 to the bill and the guacamole was something I've never tasted and don't want to again. Straight to the trash! The enchilada dinners tasted like a frozen entree, the kids tacos were edible, but honestly, I think Taco Bell beats them hands down and I'm not a fan of Taco Bell. The place was clean enough, no complaints there. The customer service? What is that? No service with a smile and when we did go back to the counter to get our sour cream and guacamole, it was a wait, the employees were pretty busy with personal conversations and when someone did come to the counter, she didn't speak English, so she had to go get someone else anyway. As for the drinks, the same non English speaking person helped us and was getting frustrated because she couldn't understand, so ended up getting us 7 glasses of Sprite. While she was preparing them, I was trying to stop her because I knew it was wrong, but she completely ignored me, so then we had to wait again, for the other employees to finish their personal conversations and then get the drinks right. Of course, we won't...

THE ABSOLUTE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN TOWN--without question!! I encourage you to support this local business, which has been family owned for 30 years!! I am born and raised in Arizona and on Mexican food. It was not until I was treated to El Tacazo that I tasted anything more authentic and delicious. My entire family LOVES it! We use El Tacazo to cater our important events, including the Sunday lunch following our wedding for all of our out of town guests, family and close friends. (Everyone wanted to take it home with them!) My friends and I have also used El Tacazo to cater birthday parties, baby showers, weddings and holiday celebrations. El Tacazo, and the wonderful people who run the restaurant, are second to none. You can tell that they cook with the best ingredients and with so much love and passion for...

Don't go here. This place is questionable. It look very old and dirty. There guacamole sucks, its very watery and taste like it came from a bag. As a Mexican establishment you should be able to make fresh guac everyday, its so basic like making fresh salsa. Any Mexican person can make it, I would know I'm Mexican. Also don't waste your money on the caldo de camaron. The flavor of the caldo is bland and they put potato in the soup to make up for the lack of shrimp. That thing cost $15 and you don't even get that much, totally not worth it. I honestly don't know how they are in business when there are so many other fast food Mexican restaurant that are so much better for...
