TERRIBLE experience at the UPTOWN location. Visited a week ago for lunch (UPDATING MY RECORD AS I ACCIDENTALLY POSTED THIS REVIEW ON THE ARCADIA PAGE). I parked my car with valet - from Valet to my table and, my phone disappeared. When I got to my table I realized I did not have my phone, so I had my colleagues call my phone - the phone rang but no answer. I then went back to valet and asked the attendant for my keys as I forgot something in my car. I get in my car and the phone is nowhere to be found. I go back into the restaurant and ask the receptionist if anyone has turned in my phone, she replied no. I continue to have my colleagues call my phone, it rings but no one answers. At the end of my meal I grab my keys and go to my car and really search my vehicle but my phone is not there. I turned on my car to see if my phone would connect, it did not. I go back to the valet guy and ask if someone turned in a phone, he said no, he was the only one working. He let's me use his phone to call my phone and it again it just rings. I ask him to ask reception again about the phone, they said no one has turned it in. I get back to my office 15 minutes later. I locate my phone on find my phone and it's at THE HENRY. I call the hostess and let her know that my phone is somewhere at the restaurant and that I am on my way and will be making a police report. When I get back to the restaurant, the valet stand is closed up for the day. I have my husband ping the phone from the find my phone app because even if someone turned my volume down, the alert will still be heard. He keeps pressing the alert over and over, and as I'm walking in, the hostess comes towards with the phone beeping. SHE SAID THEY FOUND MY PHONE UNDER A RANDOM TABLE - I told her I thought it was funny that once I mentioned that I was coming back and making a police report, my phone magically reappears. We had been calling my phone over and over, even after I left the establishment and the hostess said they saw someone calling but didn't want to answer because they didn't know if they should - THAT WAS ODD. I will never return to this location. I know this would not have happened at the Arcadia location - I go there all the time and have never have a bad experience. BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION. Be very mindful of your personal belongings - I noticed my item missing after less than 10 minutes of being at the restaurant. The valet company is INTERGRITY VALET, I'm not sure who is to blame for my missing phone and sadly I...
Read moreDear Manager/Guest Relations,
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the experience my family and I had at The Henry on 9-21-2025 , during my father’s birthday dinner. While our server provided outstanding service and handled our table with professionalism, the rest of the evening was unfortunately overshadowed by mismanagement.
For a party of five, it took approximately 45 minutes for our meals to arrive. When I approached the front counter to inquire, the restaurant manager on duty stated he would look into it. However, he did not return with any update until after our meals had already been served, at which point his involvement in resolving the issue was nonexistent.
What made the situation worse was the manager’s demeanor. His responses came across as pompous and dismissive, and he seemed more interested in debating customers than addressing the problem at hand. Furthermore, he attempted to shift blame onto our waiter, alleging that the order was placed late—a claim that conflicted with what our server had told us and appeared to be an unfair deflection.
Overall, the lack of accountability and the unprofessional behavior of the manager left us deeply disappointed, especially considering this was meant to be a celebratory occasion. The waitstaff did their part, but management failed to show the same standard of service that The Henry is known for.
I hope you take this feedback seriously, as experiences like this discourage returning guests.
Thank you for your time and attention to...
Read moreBeing lovers of the original “The Henry” farther east on Camelback, we were really anxious for this Camelback and Central location to open. True to Fox Restaurant Concepts’ style, the new location will cause us a dilemma whenever we are in a Henry mood: which great location should we go to? Of course there is a long, two-sided bar with lighting that makes the cool clientele look even cooler, and of course there are big TVs over the bar tuned to sports. The sprawling, moody-lit dining rooms include an outside-that’s-inside area with a big fireplace, pull-down shades, misters for hot weather and ceiling heaters for cold; an indoor area with plenty of booths; a windowy dining room with round tables set for four but that can probably seat 8 in a pinch (good for private events); and comfy-looking, padded half-round booths along the Central Avenue windows. Just to the right outside the front entrance is a bakery with coffee and breakfast, with its own entrance. Outside (really outside) are additional cafe tables. The menu is mostly the same as the more easterly location but our server (who was excellent) pointed out a few dishes unique to this location. And my favorites were not missing at this location (Korean Prime Skirt Steak and Short Rib Potstickers). Sarah had the Strawberry and Watermelon Salad, with Prime Skirt Steak added, which she loved. Park in the Uptown Plaza lot, which is not difficult if you arrive at 7:30p, as we do. YouTube’s...
