Went there again....employee at the window - Brianna .. had a bad attitude. Started asking me about my order and I answered.. No 1 in line, but her facial expressions made me say..are you serious? What's the matter..You ok? I was really in a gd mood until I had her encounter. And this girl had the nerve to CURSE at me like I wasn't going to say something. She said..ARE YOU 🤬'in serious? I said let me talk to your manager please. She told me NO. I said let me speak to the manager NOW.. she was highly funky. I called corp..not a call back, ..This company doesn't care about you, me or the next person. They care about the money. That might be ok by some, but not me. I've gave them so many chances.. I'm done.
We've not went back.. it's been two months.. they changed the District manager.. what I was told.. but.BUT.the highlight was that the shift manager..she was young as well..but MAN did she handle the situation with me extremely well. Thank you to the manager on duty.
Update 9/14/2019 - Now a four star.
Hadn't been to this RR for several months because the attitudes got as poor as the food service.
Had to stop and grab something only place I could see driving.. stopped..got to the windows. I was just about to say hey look...and a manager was working the window and he was ACTUALLY checking my order. I ordered a family sized meal. Something was missing and he had it corrected BEFORE he presented my order out the window? I figured..this guy is new.this won't last. Got home..hot food..everything was there.
I went again mid week.. ordered..got to the window..same manager..guy was REALLY working hard. Made sure my food was hot..and it was all there.. handed it to me and said..Thank you for coming to McDonald's.
At this point I thought I was in the twighlight zone. I told him my story quickly. This guy doesn't know me from anyone. He kindly apologized. I said this manager KINDLY apologized with empathy..NOT sympathy.. know the difference! He said "I appreciate you giving us another chance. I'm doing the best I can. Thank you again." I couldn't let this go unsaid. His name was Albert.
Albert - you have restored my faith in this restaurant. It will because of you that we start to patronize your store again. I have never had an experience like the last two here. I was about to let you have it at the window and you did what the OLD SCHOOL management teams did. Took pride in serving people and checked everything leaving - no food left behind! I'm so happy you were there. I wish you the best at this restaurant - you are going to need it.
There are many people out there that had my experience. If you have experienced bad service or employees and other managers not taking the care they should, go visit NOW. Could have a different experience.
Fyi..I said this to a buddy. Went their other day..same thing.. he GOT HOT food and good service. He actually looked for managers but he went inside. Albert didn't help him but he said it was clean, crew seemed nice. The other manager was helping people. He said it felt different. So..
Give them another shot. Good time to do so.
3 months ago : Was 2 star
Always getting the order wrong, cs is poor and when I brought it to their attn after about 10 times of missing items.. No sorry..no.. Hey..let me do this. Or..we can give you a coupon....just..so do you want it or not? Tf? We stopped going to them. Just awful. It seems to be the case every where now. Wendys as well. Subway is on point..but then again..they make it as you say it front on you lol. But..I cant give them more than a one star.
I recommend..when u go..tell them to pls make sure food is hot..or order no salt or..something special that makes them cook it fresh. But you BETTER check the order. I just don't get it Once it twice..np..everyone makes mistskes..but of 20 visits..3 times is correct and the rest issues. I get tired of complaining.. Just started going some where else.. And cooking more at home ..should have been the case anyway....
Read moreI went back to redeem a voucher for two meals as they had made a mistake on a previous visit. This is a voucher from this location, not a general voucher and has a hand signature from Cristhian Garcia, the restaurant Manager. That being said, I would expect employees to notice the voucher, recognize their managers name and signature and act appropriately.
When I arrived at the register, the girl asked how she could help me. I handed her the voucher and told her I would like to redeem it. She looked at the paper then walked away. No explanation, no "I need to get a manager or I'll be right back." - nothing.
When someone returned, it was a mid-level manager. Her shirt was a lighter blue polo. Without a greeting she just said, "What would you like?" I ordered the first meal then she said, "Anything else?". I ordered the second meal and then again, "Anything else?". This entire time she hasn't smiled or made any meaningful comments and avoided eye contact. In fact, she made it seem like I was interfering with her evening, like she had something better to be doing. Without a word she processes the order using the voucher and then hands me a receipt. No "Thank you" or, to use her expression, anything else.
The next stage, waiting, went well as the upper level manager was very nice. He was active, moving all around helping the front counter and drive-thru staff. I didn't get his name but he was communicating with the customers, giving us updates on the time, and thanking us for our patience. He wore a light blue long sleeve collared shirt.
The young man who gave me my order was helpful as well with a positive demeanor. It was a simple transaction, he handed me the bag and drinks with a, "Here you go sir, would you like a drink carrier?" which was more attentiveness than the previous two combined.
The two stars are thanks to the last two people because this review isn't about the food. People do care about service. I realize it's McDonald's but we're people dealing with people. How hard is it to be nice, to say "hello" and "thanks"? The first two people were very dismissive and I didn't appreciate that.
If I were at the register and someone handed me a voucher (after I had greeted them) with the top Manager's name and signature on it, I'd say, "Excuse me, I need to go get my manager for this, I'll be right back". A minute or less later we'd return and the mid-level manager would say, "Hello, thanks for coming in, what can we get for you?" - The idea is to make EVERYONE feel welcome, not just...
Read moreFirst off, not directly the employees fault but a major drawback at all McDonald's is the two lane order menus. It is always a contest with everyone to get your order in without people cutting you off after completing your order and it dosen't help when you are waiting forever for an employee to take your order.
As far as this store goes, I didn't order alot. Two kids meals and 3 value meals. Went at noon. Was asked to please pull forward. Ok, fine, so be it. Nothing new. I had to wait for no less then six people to get their order before I recieved mine. Twenty minutes for what is supposed to be "fast" food. When I get home (less then 5 minutes away), the fries were slightly warmer then room temperature and the buns were stale. So not sure I am going to come back here.
Update: Had a craving for McDonald's fries so I thought I would give them another go. Didn't get asked to pull forward this time so that's an improvement. Problem this time is I got through 90% of my quarter pounder when I saw the the patty was not thoroughly cooked. Neither was my wife's. Called the store and they appologized and offered a refund. Told them the post had the photos. Manager, if you read this, please take these comments to heart and address the areas as required.
Update 01/24/21: Don't know why I went to this store again. Maybe I am just tired of driving an extra 15 minutes one way just to go to a McDonald's that has their act together. So, I went back to this store today. No line to speak of in the drive through as it was only 2:15pm. Trying to figure out then why I was missing half my order. I know that you don't need college degree to work at McDonald's or even a GED but surely, the ability to read and count must be a prerequisite. Given this, why would I have recieved two of the three sandwiches I ordered and none of the 10 piece nuggets. Please explain. Evidently, answering the phone is outside their capabilities also.
Update 03/21/23: Today was a fine example of the reason I despise the "Can you please pull around and we will bring your order out to you?" After patiently and politely waiting for 20 minutes for our...
