So let me tell you about the experience I had this evening. I go to the drive thru and I order two Daily Doubles and a medium fry. I pull up to the window and they have it listed as two Sausage McMuffins with a fry. I pull around, the manager seems nice and gives me my refund. I go ahead and get my order... check it again and it’s made wrong. They gave me McDoubles. I walk inside and tell them that Daily Doubles are Mayo, Mustard, Leaf Lettuce, Tomato, and Chopped onions. They go ahead and remake it but complain about how nobody knows that the order is and how it’s no longer on their menu. I ask for three fresh cookies. They bring me the cookies in the cookie pack and they are all crumbled up. I thank the manager and walk away... I sit down in the restaurant only to hear the manager complaining to other customers about how I made him redo the order. Well... if the order had been made correctly I wouldn’t have to ask you to remake it ... TWICE. So I eat the first burger and everything is fine. The second Daily DOUBLE was missing a patty. It was a Daily Single. And then I hear the manager talking about how Corperate is always down his throat about having too many complaints and how his labor is always high and just bashing his managers out. As a former manager at a McDonald’s I do not feel his behavior was acceptable. The only person this evening who showed exemplary customer service tonight is Josh the cashier. But the manager on duty around 8:30 MST on 6/26 is rude and unprofessional person. He didn’t even have his name tag on which if I remember correctly, especially as a manager, is against company policy. The receipt I received from the drive thru did not have an order number. But the order number for the cookies was 201. I hope his unprofessionalism...
Read moreLet me start off by saying I do not leave very many reviews unless the business that I stopped at Truly impressed me... so for whatever reason I stopped by this McDonald’s on 16th St. and Glendale Road in Phoenix. From the moment I parked my car and got out the manager Jennifer S. I believe was walking around the parking lot picking up trash and greeting every person she saw. She was kind friendly and extremely welcoming. I have to be honest I was a little shocked by that especially at McDonald’s. I went inside to place my order And I happened to be within earshot of Jennifer talking with one of the new employees. She went above and beyond to encourage this young man and also told him how wonderful it was to have him as part of her team. 🤯 Are you kidding me???? I could see the new employee’s eyes light up . You could see that by hearing that he was happy to be at work. She didn’t stop there. she then proceeded to say something positive to everyone one of her employees. She didn’t miss a single person and when I decided to change my mind and take my food to go instead of eating there she insisted that I put my food in a bag so that it would stay warm🤯. I can not say enough about this Manager at this location. Every business can take a page from her book. What a wonderful lady to work for. I am extremely grateful to have been there to witness all of that. Usually I would never recommend McDonald’s as a place to eat or visit, but If you or your family decide on eating at McDonald’s then this location is the place to go.. Highly recommend this...
Read moreRude staff and incompetent management. I used to stop here almost every day for breakfast and I overlooked a lot of their stupidity. Like the time I had to give them my order 5 times, 3 times while in the Drive-Thru in 2 times while they had me parked out front waiting for my order, just to receive two sausage egg and cheese McMuffins. Also, the time that I ordered a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin and it didn't have a cracked egg on it and instead had a folded egg, or the time it didn't have an egg at all on it. I overlooked all of that and continued to go there because it was the closest to my work. Until the day that one of their employees was extremely rude. While my husband and I were ordering at the speaker, there was confusion over the app order that we had, so we pulled up to the window and tried to explain to them what we needed. An employee in the back kitchen area made a snarky rude comment saying "just say it at the speaker!." We got a lame apology from the employee that was at the window, who was a different person than who had said it and the manager didn't really do anything other than try to get us out of the drive-thru as soon as possible. I was offered nothing for being talked to in a rude way by one of their immature employees who clearly have no idea how to do a job in a professional manner. You couldn't pay me to ever go back there. If I could give less...
