Natty World Plant Based Soul Food — Restaurant in Phoenix

I learned about this restaurant this week and I was there as soon as I got off work! I’ll tell you my experience with everything I ordered.

Natty Plate (First photo) This was very delicious. Everything was season well and the greens and yam on the same plate blended perfectly together. I would rate this plate a 8. I would definitely get it again.

Chili Mac Daddy (photo 2) - This plate was okay , I was a huge fan but only because I felt like it was lacking something…maybe a little salt could help (not sure) I would rate the chilli Mac a 6.

Skreet Taco - I love Mexican food so I really enjoyed this entire plate . The corn was some of the best I’ve had. All the flavors meshed well and tasted very fresh. The tacos were delicious and I loved the fact that it tasted like something you could find in the earth (not the fake beyond meat) I would rate this plate a 8.5 the CORN and the cilantro on the tacos made this plate Pop!!!!

Taos Flowah (photo 3) - I got this plate with oysters mushrooms and it was the bomb! Everything was friend perfectly and the sauce was so good! I tore this plate up . This plate had to be my favorite out of the five I ordered. I would rate this place a solid 10. I could not find anything wrong with this plate and I would 100% order it again.

I ordered my food and drove home , so I ate my food an hour later so it wasn’t as fresh but the flavors were STILL ALL THERE!!!

The customer service was great! I called the day before and the owner on the phone was nice and explained to me how to order. When I came to pick the order up they were running behind but the owner came out and let me know my order was on the way out! I really appreciated the communication. I would rate the customer service a 10.

I thought the food was delicious. I am excited to add another vegan restaurant to my list. My husband and I loved the 🦀 cakes. They were really flavorful. I went with the mushroom option. The portion and the price were great! I would only suggest the salt be reduced in "Rabless cakes ". For the mac and cheese, it was tangy for my liking when it comes to my expectation. I think it could be better with less mustard and probably more creamier. The Blueberry Lavender tea was refreshing. Balance of sweet and fruity and tangy. This is a scratch kitchen, so don't be in a rush... But I promise it's worth the wait! We ordered online and did the drive-thru pickup (don't be intimidated that the building looks closed down, there's a camera at the drive thru window and they'll roll it up to greet you!)

Best soul food I've ever had- in general, not even just vegan. Our group ordered the Malta St., Natty Pizza, and Jackfruit Sliders. Just... incredible. And big portions! Everyone looooved their food. Plus, the staff was super sweet!
