I've been in customer service my entire working career and this was one of the most incredible customer service experiences I've ever had. I had a meeting scheduled at the Cigna office in Phoenix earlier this week. I live in Texas, but was flying in for the meeting. We needed to bring lunch for everyone. I called a few places before calling Panera. Each place I called was not very helpful. Ordering for 25 people is not easy and I needed some help. When I called Panera I was connected pretty quickly to Tosca, the catering manager. Tosca is INCREDIBLE! She could sense I needed some guidance and immidiately started telling me how she could help. She even gave me her personal cell phone number and offered to talk anytime I had questions.
When it came time to order a day or two later, I called in with some questions, and she remembered who I was. Her suggestion was that she place the order for me so I didn't have to stress over it. I can't even explain how happy that made me. She delivered the food herself and showed up promptly on time. She reviewed the order with me to ensure accuracy and then left.
Her food recommendations were a hit at the meeting and it made me look like a rockstar. This mastery level of customer service is so uncommon these days that when I experienced it, it had to find a way to repay her. Hopefully this review will help.
What am amazing human being Tosca is. Huge asset to the Panera organization. If I ever come back to town for more meetings, I'm not going anywhere else to order food. Tosca and whoever hired her deserve a raise and some...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at this location. I ordered a scone that was nearly $4.00, but it arrived burned and tasted awful—almost like it was cooked on a dirty pan. The burnt parts had an egg-like taste, which made it unappetizing.
I waited for about 20 minutes for the manager, who seemed more interested in gossiping with another customer than addressing my concerns. It was uncomfortable to be dragged into their conversation with someone I didn’t know.
As a military widow, I often feel like I'm treated poorly, and this experience was no exception. It seems that if I visited during busier hours, I might be treated better, but I shouldn’t have to dress a certain way to receive decent service.
To make matters worse, I overheard a customer bragging to manager guess manager about paying maria $1,600 a week, which felt out of touch with the reality many of us face. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and undervalued.
What more disturbing was fact manager asked if I wanted my scone on a plate trying rush me out there I was IN DINE. Then that same customer dragged me into his mocking about "yeah you treat her better" So fed up with these people burned scone lost my money /time to horrible people. I don't expect much return just what I paid for cooked right not burned tasted like eggs dirty pan besides customer service culture there to much realize never invited that onto me. Check out grocery store near by while traveling .. instead this place . I've could have done better things my time money. Rotten day. Tired being mocked for ny age...
Read moreI have been to Panera Bread several times back east and was happy to find they are now in Arizona. Until yesterday. I took my grandchildren there for lunch. I ordered a salad for myself, and asked if they would please keep the dressing separate. The girl behind the counter said yes. When my salad was brought to my table it was drowning in salad dressing. I politely mentioned it to the girl, and said I'm on a strict fat free diet, and that I've learned to not use any dressings in my salads. She said it was probably already in the salad. I took one taste of it, and ended up taking out the turkey, and wiping as much of the dressing off of it as I could with a napkin, and left the rest. When the plates were being removed from the table, I mentioned it again. No one offered to give me a refund or another salad. I was tied down with 2 little children, and couldn't leave them to go back to the counter and order something else. If salads are pre-made with dressings in them, the counter staff needs to made aware of this. I left hungry for the afternoon, as we were on our way to the Butterfly Museum...
